When you ride in before Charles gets shot, you have a window to change back into the Cowboy outfit and when dismounting your horse, you can quickly take rifles off your back.
The only mission in my 26 years of gaming where I genuinely wanted to wreak havoc on every NPC character. By this time, I was John Marston, carried by the spirit of Arthur Morgan on that mountain. Also, John would be found by the Pinkertons even if he spared Micah, they found him in Valentine when he met Sadie. Revenge is a fools game, true. One should never seek it, but here's the thing... Some things we can let go and walk away, but some, no. Sometimes you gotta honor the sacrifice of those who fell not by walking away, but by facing the demons of the past head on. Arthur would have done the same for John, no doubt about it. Best mission in the best game I ever played. Still playing it. :)

I love the way they used American venom because it's John's theme at its most glorious. At the start of the game you hear a more subtle version as he was a selfish crook at the start but by this point he was the John Marston we all know and love from rdr1 this is the moment that he became who he was and that rampage he has killing all michas men was amazing

Well, I wasn’t able to do it. Because the game respawned me in John’s Winter outfit when I died after botching the opening Dead Eye kill, and I couldn’t change back to my customized Winter outfit with the Shotgun coat. Goddamnit, I guess I’ll have to somehow complete the whole game for another chance!

I love this mission so much, in my opinion the prologue was the best part of this game and was a love letter to rdr fans the entire game john marstons been a very different man to how we knew him and the game slowly swells building to it piece by piece and finally you hear american venom and you feel it. The John Marston we all fell in love with all those years ago is here and hes out for one thing: redemption
What makes the mission a masterpiece is that you are not witnessing a game character firing and killing but its you, your raw emotions and its your vengence to avenge the death of Arthur
Every play through of this game I always customize the cattleman revolvers to be silver and gold, and I give them the Hero Pearl Grip. I don’t use deadeye after killing Joe. And I always go back for Arthur’s hat
I always take off the shoulder and back weapons before your horse runs away. Looks more badass when he's not carrying unnecessary weaponry on his back.
I do not deserve all that recognition honestly, this project was merely for fun, also you can see that on my channel I have like 11 or 12 videos uploaded only.

No it doesn’t, it’s overdramatized, running matches with the vibe of music, it shows johns vengeance and anger while he’s shouting out Micah’s name and that he’s there to kill him

Walking kinda makes the mission awkward, especially if no one is shooting at you, running matches the intense music better. But damn this mission is so good I replay it every now and then.

Exactly, for this mission I just used The Schofield and double action revolver I bought and customized for Arthur, I could rest easy that the main weapons of Arthur were the ones that sent Micah straight to hell.
Walking slowly doesn’t fit this mission, johns style and the music. First of all the music is fast pace so walking slowly just seems weird. Not only that but John is filled with rage as your hear in his voice so he will be sprinting making sure Micah doesn’t have time to get away. Also walking slowly seems more like something Arthur would do. John doesn’t care about looking badass by moving slow. It feels more in character to do a sprint.

Jack Daone if you beat the game and pause and go to progress click story you can play any mission you want without having to restart the whole game.

Your gun has to be holstered, hold right click to focus on an enemy and hold left click for the meter to start filling up
