@@MaFTB well my 318is already had a nice eurosprint catback you couldn't find anymore. And let's say chopping the muffler off the catback was the best sounding set I've ever had. Unfortunately the resonator started rattling and no matter how many resonators I put in It didn't sound the same.

Keep that tri y header and the resonator and take off the muffler one of best sounding 4 cylinders in my opinion.

@@MaFTB they do tho. Just gotta have the right one. Resonators are what tame rasp in a car. Before it's muffled by the muffler.

Yep swapping an 1.6i for 1.8is is pretty common swap and I can tell you it's 100% worth every cent
