On a normal setup that might work, but on the Ferro Concepts Slickster and Molle Base, that really isn't an option. But if you really get that one wrap tight, it was good to go. My son is running them on his JPC 2.0 right now, and they are really nice, and he LOVES them.

@kalanipitmon7817 These are great pads and, for sure, an awesome upgrade for a JPC. I liked them but ended up with another set of AXLs and gave these to my oldest son. He has been running them for a little over a month and wants more in Multicam and Coyote Brown for his other 2 JPCs.

You are welcome, I hope you liked it and get something out of it. The Shaw shoulder pads are really nice and my son uses them now exclusively.
probably just need to sandwich the tan velcro between the adjustment straps of your shoulders on your carrier
