    I met Ralph in line at Subway in 2003 - he hugged me and said a prayer for my mom, who had recently died. What a gentle and loving soul.

    "Michael" was cool as an actor but is actually a Gentle Giant in real life. I am sincerely honored to see and hear from him at this stage of life. 👏 🌹 🏆 to a Great Man.

    Amazing gifted black actor. Let's not criticize his appearance, we all age different. Listen to what's being said, and there's no jail/prison no scandal, no three or four children by three or four women. He gives a brilliant interview and history lesson. I applaud you my friend.     I met Ralph back in the eighties when I lived in Brooklyn, New York. He was very sweet and humble. He said "Thanks for remembering me". I admire his intelligence and articulation.

    Ralph Carter was a very genius lad as a child.he had a few songs out back in the early 70s. Do anyone recall when he sang at his sister's wedding on Good Times? He has been working on theater before and since the show. He's helped do so much for black theater. Thank you Ralph.many more good years to you.

    Good Times came out when I was 11. It wasn't until I was older that I realized it was a "black" comedy, it was just a great show to me.

    People always saying bad things about other people how would u feel if somone is talking bad about you. I think he looks pretty good for almost 60 and he also dress nice and doing well. Stop judging. Ralph I wish you the best. You were great on that show.

    Amidst of what’s going on, that young brother was the first to come to mind. APPRECIATE HIS CHARACTER SO MUCH MORE RIGHT NOW THAN EVER BEFORE. Thank you Ralph Carter for taking on such a controversial role for the betterment of OUR PEOPLE!!!!!!!!

    We were friends back in the day along with his sister Vickie. So glad to hear his mom is 96 and still here. Good to see him as well. Brings back alot of memories from hanging with them back in the day.

    Ralph is a great guy. He lives in my cousin's apartment building in Brooklyn. Across from Pratt Institute. He's always walking in the neighborhood.

    I used to see Ralph Carter on the E train going to the city all the time in the 80's and 90's. Ralph always gave me a nod "hello."
    We are getting up there in age now😉

    We were always reminded of Ralph Carter's theater background in the closing credits during most of John Amos' time on "Good Times." It always scrolled "Ralph Carter courtesy of the broadway musical "Raisin." It was the musical adaptation of "A Raisin in the Sun."

      5x10 Fitness we are still trapped in our thoughts that white America has to give us permission to be successful or that one chosen “black” has our success in their hand.     Ralph Carter. What a great role on Good Times he had. The writers gave people (white people. I am white) an education that we didnt normally hear, especially, on television. His character was the intellectual.
    I learned about Black Jesus among other things.
    Thank you to Norman Lear.
    I hope I get to meet him sometime. Glad he's still out there doing good work. Such a gracious man .

    An amazing man. I grew up watching Good Times. This goes to show his parent(s) were his handlers and NOT the industry. They keep him grounded and he is the product of his environment and above.

    I grew up in rural town of only white people and I was fascinated with Good Times. I used to do all of my chores, so that I could watch the show. I would sing along to the opening lyrics even if I made some of them up, because I didn't know them.

      Unfortunately most white people only know about black people what they see on tv. Go and meet some black people, maybe make a black friend and you'll find we have more in common than you think.
