Hope this helps those who did not get a fly more combo to sync the remote up...I had a few issues at first but ultimately an easy job to do.

Thank you so much for this, man! I have been trying to pair my Spark remote for three days. I have watched every tutorial out there, but nobody explained it like you did! Also, I was using the Spark's WiFi instead of the remote's WiFi with my phone. No wonder I couldn't get it to work. I was all set to ship my Spark and remote back to DJI for repair or replacement. Thanks again!

I’ve had my spark for years and push the limits for miles and when ever I go to far it always goes up to 150 feet and returns to with in 5-3’ of where it left from it does everything it should do . I had it set to follow my grand son and he ran user a tree it it hit a tiny and messed up the humble motor and sent it back for repair and they sent me a new updated spark and now I have to pair my new drone to my old remote and this was the first video I watched and it worked. Thank you very much. 67 yr old drone pilot!

Glad you posted this. I did an update to my controller and thought all was good. Launched my Spark and that puppy lifted and sat about 5 feet off the ground. The controllers did nothing. Then to make matters worse, I lost control on the phone and I couldn't even land it. Not sure how I accomplished that. Anyway, I had to just sit helplessly and wait on the battery to drain. It been a while since I had to do this and I was paring my phone to the drone. Got it going now. You rock.

Incredible helping, I just check this video every time awesome, I just wonder where it's the issue, if it's in the controller firmware, the assembly, or maybe the Electron code, because it should be a case where it detects the different assembly.

Used thus video few days ago and everything went as shown. Tried to fly today remote won't pair to drone. So I tried to redo it all over again. Can't get my drone to beep after any amount of time. (3 sec hold mentioned in video) some reason I'm doing something wrong. Also do I need to go through the pairing process everytime I want to fly my drone? Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Great video BTW! Truly made it easier then reading that tiny instruction manual lol!
I fix the problem connecting to the WiFi on the drone and not the control. And now works perfect

You also have to have the RC connected to your phone's WIFI. BUT, do you have to also have the Spark connected to WIFI too?
I have a Mavic Air I switched to a Wi-Fi system and then wanted to connect the control again, but it is not that the light is green, but it is moving continuously.

Thanks for sharing. I have a Spark Fly Como that means that de drone is paired to the controller already. Now I want buy me another new controller to pair with my Spark. Must I follow your steps ment in this video or do I have to factory reset my Spark first
You don't have to reset anything if you just follow these instructions it will pair your new controller to your spark. I hope you enjoy the video

I have been using my Spark paired with a remote control for a year now but recently the two disconnected and I cannot get them to pair again. I follow all the instructions you give in this video but still they remain in connecting mode and cannot pair again. Please assist.

I bought the fly more combo. But I couldn’t get wifi, said no internet connection. Then I tried holding down button on spark for 6 seconds, now it’s all solid red, not paired anymore. I don’t know what to do... :(

Been having trouble trying to link my rc to the drone! Initially started with the standard edition where I was using my mobile for the controls and now I wanna link my rc but how do I do this? Also the controller's wifi doesn't even appear on the list of wi fi on the settings. Please help thanks!
+Tony Ngo hey Tony. I started with it the same way and initially had the same problems. You have to put the controller in pairing mode. Did you follow the video instructions yet?
Phones And Drones yeah I did. That's where the rear lights flashing red then you press those here bottoms at the same time? Yeah tried doing that several time. The thing is I reset the wifi drone but that doesn't help as I thought that was meant to unpair it from the mobile device :/
+Tony Ngo alright I think I got ya. I'm assuming you do know the drone wifi name and password. Put the drone into pairing mode, make sure the lights are flashing and ready to go. Once it is ready then have the remote nearby and connect till you see the red blinking light in the controller change to green. If that doesn't work try connecting to the app again first then try to resync to the controller

hi, so what if the sticker that should show the wifi password on the back of the remote, is gone. i dont have a otg cable either.
I wish you demonstrated how to connect because mine, after I pushed those 3 buttons you said the green light beeps and flashes and I don't know what it means. It won't stop beeping and blinking green, I don't know what to do next.

It’s a real pity you didn’t do the complete pairing, because how long do you hold down all three buttons on remote?
So I bought a brand new spark without the controller got a controller from my friend but he has lost the password how can I take this controller and make it work with my new spark
I bought mine used and the remotes WiFi on the back is rubbed off. How can if go about finding it?
