Too much hassle! Just hold down the power button when the rc is on, for 8-10 seconds... it will beep, and the reset is done!

Except when that does not work. I couldn't get that type of reset to work and had to resort to doing it the hard way. This video saved me from having a drone doorstop. It's funny that DJI doesn't tell us about this secret reset button.

before you do this, try holding down the power button on the controller for 10 sec till you a beep. it reset the password back to 12341234 for me.

How did you know the password after you reset the controller bro.

Its the factory default pwd. Its also printed on the bottom of the remote, but the ink on the sticker may have worn off.
