how to reset the wifi if the password is erased
@@cribby_sa To reset or modify the aircraft's and remote controller’s Wi-Fi SSID and password, please follow the steps below:
1. Press and hold the battery power button for nine seconds. When the aircraft makes three beeping sounds, the Wi-Fi SSID and password can be reset.
2. When the aircraft is connected, modify the Wi-Fi SSID and password in Wi-Fi settings.
To reset or modify the remote controller’s Wi-Fi:
1. Press and hold the remote controller’s power button for nine seconds. When the remote controller makes "DDD-DD" beeping sounds, the Wi-Fi can be reset.
2. The modification of the remote controller’s password and Wi-Fi requires app v4.1.4 or later, and remote controller firmware v01.00.0300 or later.

I have been flying successfully for a few months but last week after the geofencing update nothing is right. Same problem here phone and spark fine, RC and phone fine but no matter what I do the RC will no longer connect with spark. 1 day off work a week now second weekof fighting this and I can't fly, very upsetting.
2bsure i have not use my drone for months, today tried to fly it, did the geofencing update and have the same problem, it says no internet connection and no matter what and many things i have tried the rc wont simply connect to drone. It show the green light on the remote as if binded, but not working at all.
I can fly the drone with the phone fine. Did you solve your problem?
How about having the ACTUAL beeping sounds for the procedure?

I had to stop and pause several times to figure out what they were doing but it worked great.
I actually think they meant to say "keep the drone more than 20cm away from the drone during binding procedure" not the opposite.
After tapping RC Connected there is NO screen with Remote Controller, they just made that up! Also linking the Remote to the Drone like this doesn't work and how do I stop the remote from constantly beeping?

For the beeping, if the RC is connected to the drone, the RC may stop, please keep us updated if the beeping persists after the RC is connected to the drone. Besides, before linking, please keep the drone, RC and app updated to the latest firmware. Same here. No such screen and no way to pair following the video. This must be an old version of the software. Very frustrating!
@@cheluto2 Finally got mine to work, first problem was the remote checks WiFi when first turned on and if the 2.4 Ghz band looks busy it automatically switches to 5 Ghz so I had to get a better phone that had dual band WiFi in order to connect with it on 5 Ghz WiFi. The constant beeping was because the throttle was stuck part way up and couldn't be zeroed due to a loose screw stuck under it! When I tried calibrating the sticks using the phone it couldn't calibrate the throttle. I took the unit apart to see what was wrong and found a small black steel screw like they used to put it together stuck under the stick. There were no screws missing inside the unit so that one must have been extra which doesn't say any good things about DJI quality control!
My RC does not pass the wifi signal to the cell phone and does not match the drone. What should I do? thankful

Can't get support for this on the weekends either. Who even uses a drone during business hours....?
Wish i would have read all this before I bought my spark.
I finally got hold of support
Ridiculously, the DJI android app does not work on pixel phones. Pixel is a leading android phone.
DJI advised me to buy a different phone.
What a joke.
Shameful for DJI. This can not happen, my RC came with defects.

I had a replace of the spark and when the controller connects to the spark , there’s no connection with the camera of the spark and when I try to connect the the iPhone with the drone It works but I cant fly it
I hate my spark, always some shit when taking it out, specially linking them together. Dji osmo pocket tho is great

Why DJI Spark not supported Smartphone Samsung M22?
I have little problem, because my drone after pressing button for 3 sec can't make a sound. My problem is my controller can't connect with my spark. because my controller can connect to my smartphone by Wi-Fi.

Just did a firmware up date, on my brand new spark. Haven't been able to fly it yet, got it 4 days ago..
During the update , the wifi from the rc failed, and haulted the down load.
Not the remote won't link to the drone, and the rc wifi is no longer visible on my phone.
I've tried all the fixes, no luck.
Pretty disappointed in the whole setup. Sorry, had to vent a little.
Bob, we are so sorry for the difficulties that you've been experiencing. Have you tied to reset the RC WiFi? Please try to press the power button for about 9 seconds to reset the RC, if you have another mobile device, you can also check if the other device and detect the WiFi. I've tried that several times. No luck. Seems to be a popular subject.
Brand new spark, trouble shooting time, 6-7 hours, flying time 0...
Can't return it to the ebay site, which claim they are an authorized dji dealer, without a 20% restocking fee and pay for shipping.
Or send a brand new unit in for service before it's even been used.
I wish i would have read a few more forums before i bought this.
Revolting this, I will try to recover the value of RC if I can not, I give up buying DJI products.

Hello..my brother gave me a dji spark.. i can't pair my remote to the aircraft even i followed the correct procedure..
Hi, there. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused. Could you please try the following steps? And if the problem still exists, you can send us a related video of your problem via this link: www.dji.com/support/repair
1. Confirm that the remote controller and the aircraft have been powered on.
Press the Power Button once and then press again and hold to power on the remote controller. The product gives a prompt sound when successfully powered on.
2. Please remove the microSD card from the aircraft and restart it. After some third-party microSD cards are inserted, the aircraft may malfunction after the flight. You must rule out the microSD card’s effect on the aircraft.
3. Switch the linking method between “Linking with the app” and “Linking with combination buttons”.
4. If it is invalid, check whether the remote controller has been updated to the latest version. Connect the remote controller to the app. After the connection is successful, check whether there is a prompt to update the firmware. If yes, update the firmware to the latest version and try linking again.
5. If the linking still fails, please check whether the aircraft firmware has been updated to the latest version. Connect DJI Assistant 2 and check the version. Update to the latest version and try linking.
AT 1:04 that screen doesn't come up on mine to choose remote controller ???!!!
Wait, is this some old, outdated stuff? I just updated my firmware and now trying to reset my Spark. None of this stuff is there or am I missing something?
Hi MrVegas, the linking method is always available no matter what firmware you updated, may I know which step you are stuck?
hi, why I am not able to fly with my DJI spark remote control. DJI spark and remote is linked and I m able to click pic and video with remote but not able to take off or land with remote, with phone apps work fine. I try calling DJI support and they advise to do the calibration and I did but still the same . please advice

DJI, can you add dual remote linking? I want to let my friends fly my drone with a extra controller.
Sorry, Spark doesn't support dual RC.
But can it be added in the next firmware?
My sspark controller isnt putting out a Wi-Fi signal, aircraft does and flies fine with phone but cannot get it to link with controller, when I try instead of the louder repetetive linking beep sound it beeps once quieter and then just stays flashing red with no linking, any help is appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Dillion, may we know which mobile device do you use? Please power on the aircraft, press and hold the power button for six seconds until two beeps, then search the WiFi to check.
@@DJISupportGlobal thank you for the reply! Unfortunately that did not work either, I have been watching videos and trying various methods with no success so far. My phone is a LG G35, it works great with my mavic pro. My main problem is that I cannot even get the controller to flash green to initiate the linking process, it just remains with the red led flashing and never the louder frequent beep, just a single quieter beep after holding the 3 buttons during linking process

Why is it that when tapping "RC CONNECTED" you dont get to the shown page in the video, ass Kenn stated you get to a black two sided growth off value, with a lot off statistics...
I have been flying in 2 weeks with my phone and not the controller, can't seem to get it to work.
I have iphone 7 with latest update on both the phone and the spark.
Have you set the drone to the RC mode? Please note that you have to press the function button of the drone for 3 seconds and do the next step.

What if your controller is not showing up in your device's wifi list?
Please try to reset the controller WiFi by long pressing the power button for about 9 seconds. If you are using an Android device, you may try to connect the RC and mobile device via the OTG cable and connecting cable.

Hi Rodrigo, there are 4 types cases with a beeping RC in the majority situation:
1. Extremely low battery, charger it;
2. Firmware upgrading failure, upgrade it again;
3. RC sticks are not at the midpoint, calibrate it;
4. Disconnect with the drone after 5mins, re-link the drone and the RC.

so i dont need an otg cable?
Hi Justin, Spark supports connecting the controller and mobile device via Wi-Fi, so you don't have to connect by the OTG cable. Please don't worry.
RC SSID does not appear on the phone
Hi Kevin, we are sorry to hear about the issue. Could you please tell us the way that the controller indicator blinks?
Please try to reset the controller by long pressing the power button for about 9 seconds to see if it appears.
If you are using an Android device, you can also try to use an OTG cable and connect the mobile device and controller with the cable.
@@DJISupportGlobal OTG cable works. But still why do I need to use OTG cable. I did reset but still RC SSID does not show up in the wifi list. This is expensive RC. I wonder why many people is using OTG. I want it to be worked as wireless/wifi

Gil Manliclic My problem was that I linked the phone to the aircraft wifi. It has to be the RC wifi!
Followed the instruction to the letter, this piece of sh*t is still refusing to connect with the RC. and after the update it requires a calibration before every flight. DJI really shat the bed with the phone- RC- drone connection. fails more times then connects.
We are sorry to hear about any difficulties you experienced. Please help double confirm if it is the drone disconnected to the controller, or the mobile device disconnects to the RC. A screenshot will be appreciated.
If the drone can't be connected to the RC, please double confirm if both the firmware for the drone and RC has been updated to the latest version, try to refresh the latest firmware via DJI Assistant 2.
If the drone can be connected to the RC, please check if there are other issues.
For the calibration issue, could you please tell us if it is the compass, IMU or other calibration is needed? Please calibrate the compass in an open area, keep away from the metal interference, etc.

Yeah this model is no longer supported by planned obsolescence aka the DJI apps. I've flown it once due to incompatible locations. Worst investment ever.

@@DJISupportGlobal I've tried to fly it with samsung galaxy s5 and two huawei phones; with and without the remote. I flew it once. The app won't support the drone and/or work on my phone anymore. Various apps: dji go 4, dji fly, dji pilot. Nothing but problems for 3 years.

@@DJISupportGlobal I've used Android on a Galaxy s5 and it wouldn't take off in my city. I moved to a new city and used Emui on a Huawei. It's in China. Either the location disables takeoff or when I'm not in the location, the OS won't support the app, or the app no longer supports the spark. If it's not one thing, it's another!
