Beauty!! I'm referring to the excavator 😊 That decathalon is quite the beauty too. Im waiting for someone to add flaps to theirs, so i can see how it affects the flight, before i pull the trigger on another weekend in the doghouse for expanding my hangar 😊 This month marks 1 year of RC flying for me. Im so glad i started when i did. You guys totally inspired me to start. Much to wife's shagrin and the credit card company's joy. 👍
There are tabs on the base of the hatch / windshield to lift already, that's really something you consider an issue? It flys just fine and more scale-like on 3S, inverted is poor. I talked to RJ about this and he said it was tested with different airfoils and due to the size the performance suffered too much on the rest of the envelope so they stuck with the flat bottom wing for good all-around flying.
Thanks, and yes, she is! As for flying anything...she DOES fly but only because she knows it will make me happy. We've been working together on the simulator, but she HAS flown before.
Would love to see you setting up flaperons on this one Brian (I know you thought about :D). It does use up the run way and it almost sounds like a gasser (chipping the prop does add that effect!). Love that you give a show for your neighbours.
I’d love to get one of these as my second RC plane. I have an XK Trojan that I’ve pretty much mastered and would love something a little bigger and more capable. This seems like it would be perfect.
This one. The V900 is a thrill, but I don't find it to be an "everyday" flier for me. bprc.me/Decathlon vs bprc.me/V900 ...If you want a V900, I'd go that direction over the V1200, fwiw

Great job and flying!!! Cheers!!!
I have the NX8 and I'm quite happy with it.
Just got one myself. Really like it as well.
Awesome plane
I liked your first review and bought one. Just like you stated, a great flyer, but I do wish it had flaps.
I think that's what's holding me back from buying one. No flaps. I'd just end up cutting my own in. And I don't want to chop up a new plane 👍

Does the "camera crew" ever fly anything? She is definitely one of the best when it comes to filming rc planes on RUclips.

@@BrianPhillipsRC that's awesome!
@Brian Your pond is looking good. Which water birds are you planning to fly?

when you said downward bend in the wing"; are you referring to 'washout' ? (or something a little off)...
I’d love to get one of these as my second RC plane. I have an XK Trojan that I’ve pretty much mastered and would love something a little bigger and more capable. This seems like it would be perfect.
Could you please do some radio setups on the nx7e please not really any videos on that radio
Which one do you personally enjoy flying more : this one or the v900?
This one. The V900 is a thrill, but I don't find it to be an "everyday" flier for me.

Is this more jankable than the commander?
YES. It really is!
that one looks fun - I thought it would suck
Awesome!! I need one of everything. I just wish my wallet agreed. Lol. Very cool. It's on my wish list.
is that too fast for a beginners plane?
In all reality would be a good 2nd plane after a trainer.
Or get the commander. Best of both worlds
