I learned to fly in a Citabria ,what beautiful plane, it would just leep into the air, flying it was just intuitive. I can't wait to put this model together and get into the air. I'm sure it will be lovely to put it through its paces.
Very Nice. Dad purchased a 1976 Bellanca Citabria in 1979. First time I ever did a snap roll was when we were flying home after the purchase in it. It scared the piss out of me. Was not ready. Once he gave me some training, I was the master in control. Loops, rolls, snap rolls, Hammerheads, towed gliders with it. It did not have a inverted oil system, so you had to keep Positive g's on the oil pan, very important. It would blop oil out of the breather inside the cowl and make a Hella-mess if you didn't keep the oil where it needed to be. A later fix was a clear 1" tube ran connected from the breather, inside thru the cockpit along the floor, all the way back to exit at the tailwheel. ALOT less mess if some made it thru. Used clear tube and ran it inside, to see if any oil was moving back or out, while we were having fun. That way we could "knock if off" right as the oil light came on/flickered. Saved about $2000 on a inverted oil system, for about $20 in clear tube. I miss the Green and White Bat wing paint scheme Citabria. The tail number showed the last annual in 2013(very old) in Anchorage Alaska, same year as Dad's passing. I think I know what he is doing.
Thank you! The t28 progress has been slow as I had some pretty big stuff I’d been working on behind the scenes. That is finally done now (if you’re on my email list, you saw what it was 😁) and so should be able to get back to the Trojan much more expeditiously.
Yea very nice modle,we have one in our club, but I was wondering about your nx10 you use,do you use a soft stick or heavy because just carnt seem to adjust it enough for a soft feel,do you no of any isues with the stick not adjusting enough thanks
To each their own, but that plane does not appeal to me at all. The livery is too busy and those gray windows look terrible. Looks like a great flier though.

Very cool! Thanks for sharing that
Hey where's that flying field at? Look cool, I would like to fly there someday.@Thercgeek
Rad brother! Glad to see you do a review on this...thinking hard on this one...hmmm....
You should! I think you’ll like it. Has a great look too
Love mine, loads of fun
I like fixed landing gear planes. One less thing to worry about. On the RealFlight sim the Decathlon is a lot fun so I have been interested.
nice flight...yep, love this plane; also great on 3S ! ...
Cool video Chris. Always enjoy your reviews! How’s the T-28 bulls going?

Nice review! What camera is on the plane? Stunning footage!😮
Thanks! I used a couple runcams for the onboard stuff. amzn.to/3ziBswZ

Nice plane Chris
Between this and the commander …. Any thoughts ?
You know, I’ve not flown the commander so can’t really say. As an aerobatic model, I’m guessing the decathlon is probably my the better choice.
@@Thercgeek i just ordered a commander , lets see how it does
Awesome i luv mine
I love mine

I definitely can understand.
I'm thinking black might look good?
....easy to paint those.
