I don't wanna be the guy (or gal actually) but this looks like hastily made to get the first demon platformer. There's no 2.2 things except it's a platformer, just a hell lot of spikes thrown together. By that I don't mean it should have 20 different shaders and 12 camera movements every 3 seconds but at least have a gimmick or something that makes it fun when you complete it rather than "thank god its over". Like add some variation, introduce new mechanic in different stages.

I feel like the standard for extremes in platformer mode going forward is gonna be to have as few checkpoints as possible. This is absolutely hard as hell but the checkpoints are surprisingly generous in frequency; means that every segment can be hard without feeling unmanageable. While I prefer it this way I feel people are definitely gonna stop doing that for the sake of being Hard (I mean imagine doing a 1 segment of this level)

I mean iwbtg games are known to be notoriously difficult despite being generous with checkpoints, less checkpoints only lead to more annoyance in my opinion.Enjoyment of platformers drop hard when I have to redo the same sections over and over again.

Because it’s not an extreme demon, all platformer levels are being overrated. I bet that in a month people will come to their senses and realize that if a guy can beat levels three difficulties above their standard in platforming mode, the difficulties need to be decreased.
