    After running this system for the last few weeks I felt like I wasn't getting enough out of the speakers. So, in addition to the poly fil batting Alpine supplies with this kit, I treated my soundbar with a couple sheets sound deadening material, closed cell foam rings around the back of the speakers, and stuffed more poly fil in the soundbar. This small investment paid off with huge rewards in much fuller sound.

    I appreciate your sharing a video regarding the installation of a Alpine SPV-65-JLT 6.5". To be clear, this will likely be my next upgrade.
    With this said, how well do you feel the factory 7" receiver can power these d
    Speakers? Is a aftermarket amp necessary, or simply an upgrade for later?

    Nice work. I am concerned about the wires rattling on bumpy roads should I do this upgrade, You think it would be redundant to make some provision for securing the wires to avoid rattles?

    You need to outline what has to happen for those of us who have the 8.4 Alpine / word is these will not work with that system

    • @volunteeraudio
      @volunteeraudio  2 года назад

      The stock alpine system runs the speakers active meaning the 4” and 2.5” speakers are on seperate amplified channels and they have different built in crossovers. So these will not work with the stock alpine system.
