Do you lock it on in a randomized position each time? Mine seems to get light gradually baffle strikes if I don’t have the logo at 10 to 11 o’clock position… looking down the barrel Used a rode and it was out of alignment, sent it back to dead air, they cut it half and fixed, sent it back. Same problem. Don’t use it much if not at all. Should’ve bought an omega
I just received my wolfman today. I was nervous about the fitment as i put an HBI micro/k 3-lug barrel and handguard on my cz scorpion. All of my research said it wouldnt fit except for one forum post I saw. It fit perfectly and I couldnt be happier. I was also surprised as i didnt realize you guys were up in Heber, i live in SLC and work in Park City so it was a pleasant surprise!
Love mine….but do not like how challenging it has been to find all of the adapters. Took me longer to track down a 3-lug adapter than it did to for the ATF to complete their end.
@@billn911 I have an akv I use the most. It likes hush 147, 165gr I also shoot speer lawman 147 gr but that goes supersonic out of a 12.5 barrel. Still not loud by any means. The wolfman does great on 300blk subs too. Pmc bronze .223 out of a 14.5" ar sounds like a .22lr in full configuration. It is a great can. I just run keymicro on everything so I don't worry about all the other attatchments. Ps. I shoot outside if you are in an indoor range it will still be pretty loud with supersonic rifle rounds.
@@Titoburritobandito awesome! This is what I needed to hear. I have an AKV, 10.5” AR9, 10.5” 300blk and various length 556. I cannot wait! I will order up some of the ammo you mentioned. Side note my form 1’s approved in 14 days but they just ignored that form 4 sitting there lol. Going to be a long wait for me I’m itching to get it home. Fortunately I have visitation rights at my range.
@@billn911 Happy shooting you made a great purchase! Shit you are right too I just looked at my form 1 the akv is 10.5" had it mixed up with a banshee I have.
I love my wolfman but I’d really love if as a company you made sure that all accessories like the tri lug were readily available, it’s bad enough we wait long periods of time for the tax stamp shouldn’t have to wait for accessories to be in stock.
In my little experience with this. I only have 2 cans. I always buy a few attatchments first. Then I order the can. Anything else I need usually becomes available while the waiting process is going on. Getting certain host firearms is more difficult than getting a can most of the time. Good guns get popular then it's even worse.
I love my wolf man, if only you guys can release a micro key mount that Jmac customs released, a zero version. it would be perfect, I run my wolf man with my AR with the micro break but then I have to unthread the keymo to run it three lug or direct threat with my sun guns =/ and then I run it with the booster on. my pistols
Can I run this on a KeyMo muzzle device with a KeyMo mount/adapter? Is the blast baffle large enough for the longer tines on a KeyMo muzzle device - I've had trouble with mounting a Nomad on some of the KeyMo muzzle devices designed to bring the 13.7' 556 barrels up to 16"
You need to use the KeyMicro brake with the Wolfman. The normal KeyMo muzzle brake is too long. They say the KeyMo flash hider will work, but I don't have one and cannot confirm it will fit.
@@waynepalmer5107 The only OEM muzzle device from Dead Air that doesn't fit Keymicro on the Wolfman is the 3 chamber muzzle brake. The 3 prong flash hider fits however the end of the prongs are really close to that blast baffle and it will cause premature erosion where the flame is focused between the prongs. If your shooting 300blk subs through a 16 inch bolt gun like I am it's not nearly as punishing as being on a Semi Auto10.5 in 5.56 etc.... so a little common sense goes long way here. A brake is the better bet for longevity on that type of host. Jmac, LANTAC and Forward Controls offer KeyMicro compatible options if you want some alternatives to the OEM ones. Best of luck.
Bolt gun. Semi Auto shot very slowly. That is what they are saying for light duty usage. If you have binaries, forced reset, nice 2 stage or legit full auto etc.... and plan to mag dump back to back as fast as you possibly can this isn't the ideal can. A Sandman is what you seek.
@@jeremywills9303 the new Sierra 5 is supposed to be a great option as well. I believe it ships with a KeyMo muzzle device and adapter thanks hope this helps have a Blessed weekend 👌
Why TF is it impossible to find disassembly videos for specific suppressors? REALLY, why so hard? Looking for 3 days on Wolfman disassembly instructions. The manual next to useless.
When it's in your hand you will say it's worth the hassle. My 1st was a full 12mo. wait and it sucked, but I've also had one that was under 5mo. for approval.
Don't buy a Dead Air Wolfman as they cannot supply the required DA444 Tri Lug adapter to use. It really sucks when you finally get a Wolfman of over a year wait, and I've been waiting another half a year to use the Wolfman because of the absence of the DA444 part. I have requested information of availability multiple times and always get back soon, but it's still not available. Dead Air DO BETTER!
As an owner of a Wolfman, I must say that using it on my Mp5K with the 3 lug adapter, it is AMAZING!!! It is my absolute favorite can.
My Ghost works quite well in that regard as well. Smaller diameter makes it easier to fit inside various hand guards.
Short or long config?

Sounds like you need a Sandman
