Put a HK 3 lug adapter from HB industries on my Scorpion. Then mounted my Wolfman and put an alignment rod through it. Wobbles so much I was easily able to get the end cap to make contact with the rod. Took the end cap off and checked again and now the last baffle was able to make contact with the rod. That can't be normal can it? There's no way I'm shooting this the way it is right now.
I was convinced to go the 3 lug method with my dead air wolfman. I like the idea behind it but was a little less impressed once it was said and done. The can still has a lot of wiggle to it both in rotation left and right along the axis but also it kinda moves side to side, maybe only a millimeter but enough to make me worry about baffle strikes. Is this normal? anyway to make it tighter? I had direct thread previously which of course lacks quick detach but it was solid as a rock and had zero play. 3lug seems sketch.
I had your exact problem when I used Silencer Co's piston for my Ghost M. The whole can would slightly wiggle if pressed on it lightly. It shot fine with no strokes but I never felt comfortable so I just got the actual dead air piston
I run a 3 lug on a scorpion and it has movement. I don’t know that I’d call it wobble but if u move it with ur hand u can feel a slight bit of play. So far it’s been fine tho. I’ve heard these have some play in them.
I have two questions. What is brand/name of the that AR tool? What type of lube do you recommend when taking apart a suppressor and putting it back together?
Got my ghost on the 1st after 10 months.. took it out yesterday for the first time didn’t k ow I had to lube that piston, thought I broke my adaptor lol 🤦🏻♂️
Looking foe a 3lug for an hk mp5.... also looking for thr can to learn the sf light handguard anything that will accommodate the lighthandguard with out having the can rub on it? (Or fit)
I was kinda disappointed i some how missed the detail that the wolfman was a sealed can after i bought it. Ive seen how dirty my cans will get so i hope its stay quiet for a long time. Have no idea how to clean a sealed can affectively
I have a ton of cans from a bunch of different manufacturers what would be a can or two that you all recommend me to get. I shoot a lot of 9mm 45acp and 300blackout I don’t want a can that does them all I want like caliber specific. If that helps. Thanks for any info
@@spartylawyer1 I bought one a few months ago. Just sign up for all the back in stock notifications bc they sell out quick. I forgot where I bought it, but it was either capitol armory or hanson bros
Love Dead Air! I have a Ghost M, I want to attach it to a ar-45 by way of a 3 lug mount, but i can't find a 3 lug mount that will fit a .45 acp. Do you guys make a mount for .45? if not, why? and if you are going to make one, how soon and please take my money. Have a great day.
I got a tri lug installed on my mpx about 7 months ago and ordered a trilug adapter from silencer shop. my wolfman came in today and I promptly put the adapter on the wolfman. Put it on and everything works great. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. 13.5 lh thread on those mpxes. Looks fucking awesome!
3 lug is normally a fixed barrel fast attach method for pistol caliber s (MP5 made it famous) and booster is normally used on semi auto pistols that have a John M Browning style tilting barrel (99% of pistols with a slide). Hope this helps
Ok, weird. I just ordered your 3-lug mount about 15 minutes ago. A seller on a site that brokers the sale of guns had one in stock, DA-444. Then this vid pops up in my notifications. I've got to get around to joining the Asylum. Thanks for the video, these are extremely helpful.
This guy seems like the type of person you can have at a BBQ, crack open a beer with and be able to speak about issues of importance. Thanks for making the video. Blessings and health...
Don't buy a Dead Air Wolfman as they cannot supply the required DA444 Tri Lug adapter to use. It really sucks when you finally get a Wolfman of over a year wait, and I've been waiting another half a year to use the Wolfman because of the absence of the DA444 part. I have requested information of availability multiple times and always get back soon, but it's still not available. Dead Air DO BETTER!
How would you recommend attaching the three lug adapter to my Wolfman? Rockset? Loctite? Just torque? It’s going to be dedicated to the tri lug
I’m just impressed that Mike made it through the whole video without any sexual innuendo!
hahaha crap...
“Stick that back in there…it’s kinda tight.”

Would be nice to be able to purchase a 3 lug adapter.
They are in stock: deadairsilencers.com/product/ghost-m-3-lug/
Yep - Got one! Thanks

How much wobble it's considered "normal" with a 3 lug mount?

3 lug for a Mask? What's your thoughts on the after market adapters out there?
I have two questions. What is brand/name of the that AR tool? What type of lube do you recommend when taking apart a suppressor and putting it back together?

I hope you see this. I have a 3 lug but it will only thread in partially. I'm not sure what the issue is. Bot are 1/2 x28

For whatever reason this gentleman reminds me of Jack Nicholson.
haha everyone says that.
No no no.... How bout this..... Jack Nicholson and Jesse James have a baby together, the baby is Mike papas.
So make sure you lube it before you stick it in because it's kinda tight, Got it.
haha
He said it was tight
Did you guys stop making tri lug adapters for the wolfman ? Can u use the ghost tri-lug with the wolfman ?
I just scooped one up from Silencershop! Excited to toss it on my wolfman
I’m more impressed with that Wilton vise. Nice
My question is , would the Pseries spacer need to be purchased to run this in conjunction on my sp5?
Isnt 3 lug the original QD mount? My B&T loves it!
you da man!
I was kinda disappointed i some how missed the detail that the wolfman was a sealed can after i bought it. Ive seen how dirty my cans will get so i hope its stay quiet for a long time. Have no idea how to clean a sealed can affectively
For this particular silencer, please remove your front cap and rear adapter, then soak the silencer in a 50/50 mix of CLR and water.
Are all tri lugs the same or do they differ in some way
I can't find replacement o rings 🥲
I'd like to have a set for future maintenance
Is this a gen 2 tri lug? Mine does not have a nut.
Yeah mine doesn’t have a back cap. Please help. It is dead air though.
If I use a 3 lug brake(so a 3 lug with a brake cut into the mount) can I run it on my Wolfman and shoot 300BLK supers?
I have a ton of cans from a bunch of different manufacturers what would be a can or two that you all recommend me to get. I shoot a lot of 9mm 45acp and 300blackout I don’t want a can that does them all I want like caliber specific. If that helps. Thanks for any info
Will these be in stock in the near future? Thank you
Is 3 lug for fixed barrels or can it work with pistols
could I use a three lug on 300blkout subsonic round or supersonic rounds using a silencer co Hybrid
Can we get a three lug system for the Mask. Please and thank you
Love my wolfman, but I do wish you guys made a low profile 3 lug adapter like silencerco. 👏🏻
I wish they made a tri-lug adapter period. They are out of stock everywhere and won't even back ordered . Did they discontinue ?
@@spartylawyer1 I bought one a few months ago. Just sign up for all the back in stock notifications bc they sell out quick. I forgot where I bought it, but it was either capitol armory or hanson bros
@@spartylawyer1 tombstone tactical based out of Phoenix has them most the time.

griffin makes a plan a mount for the wolfman and ghost. They also sell a 45 calibor brake.
Should the thread protector be left on or off while putting a three lug can on a threaded/3 lug combo barrel?! Thanks.
Leave it on.
What’s the thread pitch on your 3 lug adapter?
Will the DA three lug adapter work with a SIG MPX barrel and the Wolfman?

I'm running a PCC that requires a booster/nielsen device. If I put a 3-lug adapter on the threaded barrel, I still need the booster, right?
3 lug is normally a fixed barrel fast attach method for pistol caliber s (MP5 made it famous) and booster is normally used on semi auto pistols that have a John M Browning style tilting barrel (99% of pistols with a slide).

No, if you use a booster on a fixed barrel you have a higher chance of baffle strikes
Love you guys ! Hope the ghost comes back in stock on silencer shop soon .
Soon my friend.
Can I install a 3 lug adapter on a Nomad 30?
No
now if you can figure out how to shorten wait time for a can.
Kind,of a waste.. camera is to far back, hurrying through the steps and not explaining each step. Zzzzzzzzzz
Do you have a three-lug adapter for 45acp?
It's supposed to be coming but as of now no.
Dead air makes one and capitol armory has it in stock

420th like for Mike 👍🏼

Another great video thanks.
Dat dock tho!

How does a suppressor company have such bad audio engineering on their videos
