What was the little red bottle? You squeezed something on the threads there. What was that?

How do you prime the oil pump?

I removed the spark plugs and disconnected the fuel injectors, and then cranked the engine for 10-15 seconds using the starter. This will allow the oil pump to begin drawing oil through the system without the engine running. Do this 3 to 4 times.

You can soak the lifters in oil. But in all honesty priming, it will be enough. The priming process pushes oil to all the right places. Be mindful to check oil levels after priming

The blue stuff is Gasket sealant ,I use it as an extra precaution to prevent oil leaks should any bolts loosen.
