Is it ok if the MAP sensor kinda wiggles a little bit, right?
Thanks for watching. Yes, it's fine for the MAP sensor to wiggle. As long as it's seated correctly, it will swivel back and forth with no issues.
From where you bought the mudguard?
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so, I got the mudguards from BalfesBikes.
Buongiorno come si puo avere questo utensile grazie e buon lavoro
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. I got the tool from. hammerperf.com/xllubrication.shtml#bronzeoilpumpgear
@@DIYMagpi Buongiorno grazie mille
Ciao scusa il disturbo il grasso / olio durante il montaggi mi potresti mandare il link lo hai preso preso hammer ? Grazie
Per la spedizione c e da fidarsi io sono in italy
Cheers for the video reference 👍 Im trying to clean my speed censor and it seems the only way to get to it is by removing the oil tank up the top
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. Sadly, it's the only way to get access to the speed sensor. Best of luck with the repair.
@@DIYMagpi Will give it a go tomorrow 👌 Should upload more videos on the Rocker C ! Theres not alot of video references out for for basic mainaince & upgrades
@@DIYMagpi Got it all done today cheers for the upload 👌
Che problema ti dava ?
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. The problem was that the oil gear was worn down and broke.
Does fender have to come off or take out battery?
It's not necessary but makes the process slightly easier. Allows for better access and removal. Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so.
3:55 what is the tread size of the screw?
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. The thread size of the screw is M5 0.8 x 25
Why oh why! Didn't you use the old bearing on top of the new to protect it???
Good point, I was in a rush .thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so.
I will sub. Love the fact you took the time to make this video. Making more?
@@DIYMagpi Also - when doing bearings - the real issue isnt the instalation of the new bearings. Its the removal of the old. Maybe next time include that in the video. We weld a bolt to the bearing were removing to give a punch something to get hold of when driving them out from the other side. This is very helpful. Good luck with futur videos.
Did you remove the lifters or push rods
Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. Great question. I forgot to include that part in the video. I removed the rockers, so there was no pressure on the pushrods or lifters, allowing the cams to be installed normally.
Merci fürs inforamtion ❤
Glad I can help. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already done so.
Thank you, sir. Now I can get after it...
Glad tthe video helps. Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so.
Put the bearing in the freezer and holder in hot water, it will just drop in, don't use your snap on hammer!!!
Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. That's an excellent suggestion but it wasn't as hard as it looks on the video to fit it in.Snap-on make some very robust tools. That thing can take a beating and keep on ticking.
Hi, why my speaker doesn't work but the microphone works?
Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. Two reasons that may be the cause of your issue, 1. The speaker is damaged via water or failure. 2. The pins on the speaker are not connecting to the contacts. You can try removing the speaker and bend the pins away from the speaker so they make contact with the connection points. But be very gentle when bending pins .
My bikes got 2 little screw covers over the calliper pins, i think they’re just to stop the pin from vibrating lose, problem is the rear cover has been mangled (oops) and is stuck on 😂
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. Is your bike pre 2021 or 2021 onwards ,as I know there was a face lift on the bike along with a few changes. Personally, I'm not impressed with the fact that the rear wheel needs to be removed in order to access the rear brake calliper.
@@DIYMagpi hey sure will do thanks for reply and yeah mine is the older model 2016 with the ABS brakes, this model you can access the calliper with wheel still attached luckily just need to find a way to remove the pin cover without causing more damage 😂
Very nice video. Great work. Is this the same procedure for Harley 2011 nightster 1200 ? Thank you.
Hi thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already done so, it is exactly the same procedure from 2005 to 2022 the last year of air cooled sportsters .
Great video. Short but enough details
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. I'm glad you found the video helpful.
Is it possible to change the lock nut because mine became round when trying to unscrew it?
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. To answer your question, Yes. First, you have to remove the axel. Then, you can completely back out the adjuster along with the rounded nut . Hope that helps.
When your pushing the caliper side to side was that you pushing the pistons back ??
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. Yes, I was pushing the piston back so that the new brake pads will fit in.
Gracias pocos videos muestran realmente como hacer este trabajo.👍
Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you haven't already done so. One of the aims of the videos is to show the reality of repair and maintenance. It's not a scripted video where everything is perfect. I want to capture the raw element of repairs.
I’m diving into this tomorrow to replace my starter motor and speed sensor…. When you reassembled the bike did you have to pre charge the oil lines or was it as simple as put back together put oil in and start? Thank you for the video mate
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. I didn't recharge the lines. I let the bike sit for about 30 minutes before I started it up.
@@DIYMagpi yeah mate I have subscribed these 3 videos will be playing on the flatscreen when I break mine apart tomorrow. Thank you for it liked and subscribed!
I plan to merge all the videos from part 1 to 3 very soon.
@@DIYMagpi that would work very well I just have the fender off now so I’m going back to one 😂 to work out what I’m pulling from there. And dropped the oil already
Hey peeps, how did your starter / Speed censor replacement go, I need to clean or potentially replace my speed sensor. Do have to take the oil tank of to do this job ?
Thanks for posting and high lighting the spanner and socket sizes; doing mine this weekend👍
Thanks for watching, and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. I'm glad the video helps. I'm on the side of the swing arm. There will be 3 bars. Make sure each side is lined up with the same bar. As in bar 1 on the right side should be equal to bar 1 on the left side. This keeps your wheel aligned correctly
Appreciate it, subscribed 👍

Hello, what is the size of the socket ?
Thanks for watching. The socket is 1/2" imperial. 1÷2×25.45= 12.7 mm
Short, sweet, to the point. 10/10 instructional video.
Glad it was helpful!, that was always the point of my channel. Thanks for watching.
Funny, just changed mine this week needed more cca for my hammer kit. My pos and neg cables are reversed here in New York Kool video as always
Thanks for watching . Glad you enjoyed the video. In terms of reverse positive and negative cables I cross them behind the frame when I need to reverse them due to an odd battery.
@@DIYMagpi interesting
nice remix 😍
Totally agree. Great gig
Other new song???
Thanks for watching, and yes, I think so.
What year sportster and is the case cracked?
Thanks for watching. The engine is not cracked. it's a cast seam, it's a 2009 engine
SPEAK! Jesus Christ!
Thanks for video Is that an Off Set valve type inner tube ?
Hey mate I think I need to replace my speed sensor. It stalls randomly idle is erratic occasionally and sometimes the indicators don’t self cancel…. My Speedo works though but I suspect it’s 10kmph off everyone else….. Is there an easy way to get to that?
22 years ago i installed the Andrews n4. Cams perfectly. Now due to a blunder im redoing it BUT i CANT FIND ANY MARK ON THE CRANK TO ALIGN CAM #2 . Ive lookef and even used a magnifying glass to no avail!! Si i set the crankshaft through the viewing port between at Top Dead Center and aligned the marks Aaaaannnd Nope ,Not Today!! Since i Cant See the crank mark is there another method of fetermining i have the crank shaft in proper position to set the rest of the assembly????

Glad you're enjoying the content . Thanks for watching, and feel free to ask questions. Please share any useful videos far and wide as it helps grow the channel.
Hey so putting it back does it need a massive sae key to tighten it up on the right side (if your sitting on it?
The right side aligns the wheel, and the left side holds the wheel in place. Yes, you will need the massive SAE Allen key to tighten it back. 50 to 65ft-lbs will do it. Thanks for watching. I hope the video helps.
My man u work fast. Obviously experienced good job. What year is the bike?
That bike is a 2009 sportster. But the video will apply to all fuel injection sportster models. 2005 and up. Thanks for watching.
@@DIYMagpi good job
is it okay if the map sensor wiggles a little bit loose?
Why not use a rubber mallet?
I didn't have one to hand. The desired effect was achieved without harm to the bearing or wheel.

Did you cut the socket or bought it like that?
What’s the blue stuff.
Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already done so. It helps the channel grow. The blue stuff is Gasket sealant ,I use it as an extra precaution to prevent oil leaks should any bolts loosen.
