Only need 30-60ML of Shampoo+ Matty! 150ml OMG😳
Some things will never change 😂
A little extra doesn't hurt man 😂
@@JUAN75001do you realize you replied to the guy who designed that stuff.
@GregoryVeizades no man i had no idea 😂😂
Less is more, except with Uncle Matty ;)
Bilt Hamber is produced in the UK 🇬🇧 and has a massive following due to its value and performance. The new Trace-less glass cleaner is epic and blows away the competition. Get your hands on it and be impressed.
Agreed 🇬🇧
stfu fool. literally sounds like a commercial
It’s awesome stuff! I love the fact the factory is just down the road from me! No nonsense cleaning!
What is better about it than Invisible Glass that seems to clean the windows plenty fine? I even got a bottle of whatever the extra strong stuff Matt sold me on is, but really don't ever need to use it.
Its king but sucks its so expensive in North America.
I think a convertible ownership would be interesting to follow. We can learn the proper way to take care of the top.
Matt is right with supporting the good companies. I bought a pry bar from Estwing and it was bending. I looked it up and realized they were not made in America anymore. If we support the good companies they won’t need to go over seas and turn to JUNK.
My PXE 80 polisher switch broke during my second use. I have to send it for repair. Everything is junk.
You were one product shy of a Wash, Clay, Seal on that hood. Having a wish list type of function, with a Porsche type of configurator, would be one hell of an experience.
Ordered two of the Matty Launch edition 1 liter and a 5 liter of Touchless. Super excited. Also, the new T-shirts are fantastic! Super comfortable.
Hey Matt, Car Wash mode is still there, just got moved. At top of screen is shortcut button that also comes on when car is put in park. Go to page 2 of that menu and car wash mode is there 👍🏼
I’ve bought a couple cheap pressure washers and it was so underwhelming. Switched to a kranzle and was blown away. Buy once cry once. I love this thing! Thanks Obsessed
Bilt Hamber is one of the best detailing supply brands to come out of the UK. I have been using their products for well over 13 years and don't have any plan on changing.
Honestly a good long wash and talk is like a breath of fresh air to me, hope to be able to wash a car with you someday. Watching your channel and progression in the last 5 years has legit changed who I am as a person.
As someone who’s in Europe and can’t shop from you directly I of course don’t have a Inside the Hex membership. Please make sure to update us when you start posting regular updates from the new HQ! Will become a member immediately when that happens 🙏🏻
What product do you think to be more efficient on inhibiting rust dust? Hydes Serum Rustopper or Atom-Mac? Do they do the same job?
Atom Mac is better in my experience and more cost effective
Atom Mac
Atom Mac at 5% doesn't seem to do anything.
Anyone who reviews Giraffe pressure washers and doesn’t call it out for being way over priced garbage tells all you need to know about them. A Ryobi or Karcher pw and separate hose is a better setup and way cheaper. Also when the pw goes bad you only replace a $100-150 pw instead of pw and hose reel for $300+. It’s crazy that people are falling for that crap, but they also buy Adams and CG rebranded SunJoe junk pw’s too so…🤷♂️
I thought this was a joke, I went and looked.... friggen chemical guys trying to get in on the pressuer washer market... smh
@TylerSL92 where have you been? CG unit released last spring and is absolutely TRASH
@@TylerSL92 the real joke is that people fall for it, buy one and then say it’s actually good. The fanboys have no idea Adams or CG literally just repackaged Sun Joe junk, raised the price significantly and completely ripped them off.
@@RICARD01 The CG one on rollers for $200 is just insane. For that money you can get an actually good Active VE56.🤷♂️
@@seashackf1 exactly
this rant was hilarious 😂
A LEGIT source of Bill Hamber, well crap, there goes my money.
I’ve been using surfex hd diluted in the foam cannon to 4%pir and it’s great for wheels and tires
My problem with wearing a watch is I bang it on everything, but without it, I never hit anything. I don’t want to risk scratching a car.
Im guessing Bigboi is new to the US but it’s an Australian company and been around here a while. They started making cheap knock off type pressure washers but seem to have gotten more serious recently. We bought the Washr PRO last year as a backup to our Kranzle, and it’s now become our primary washer mostly because it’s so much quieter. You can basically have a conversation standing right next to it. We’ve noticed no drop in performance, and it’s truly an awesome machine, especially for the price. Plus the inbuilt quick connector is convenient. The gun it comes with is half decent too, but we use the OG gun and wand. I’m guessing price wise in Australia it might make more sense as it was a bargain here during sales, maybe in the US they don’t make sense in that regard?
I think the pro model has an Italian pump , and comes with a ten year warranty on the pump.
Not sure about the cheaper or consumer range, and there have been quality issues, however I’ve got their twin blower too and had no problems.
Very keen to see Obsessed Garage thoughts on this?
His comments have put me off trying Big Boi stuff!
@@poynty400 I had no real experience with their stuff until the washer pro came out. I bought one as a backup on Black Friday sales as our kranzle was leaking oil and needed a service. Haven’t looked back it out main pressure washer now.
I have a new pressure washer coming called the big daddy giraffe extreme. It does 2.4 gpm and 500 decibels and has a built in 500’ hose
Mine comes with a speaker and a microwave. Beat that. Oh and 6 gpm
i have 3 years old wiper blades on my car... :D when you wash ur car weekly they stay on good shape. allso not need use them a lot if you have coted windshield
The new sales concept would be a fun one to take on, I'd be all over this if it were 2 or so years out when we plan to move down.
I love me some Tilt Stamber
24:57 Mrs. Giraffe 😂😂😂
What kind of step stool were you using in this video? I need one just like that.
Very ambitious idea - a brick and mortar endeavor in 2024 seems scary, but everything you touch seems to turn to gold…so it will probably be wildly successful.
Talk about OCD! I know you've always had the Blue as Rinse and Red as Wash but it makes my OCD go crazy. Red = Bad/Danger/Stop, lol
Surfex HD is simply the best
Been using Atom Mac for 6+ months now. Testing it alongside Hyde’s. Use 5% mixture. Had high hopes for it, especially since you use so little and bottle will last a long time. So far it’s unfortunately not as good as Hyde’s. It does cut down the rust, but not as much as I’d hoped.
Try it at a 10% dilution and spray it before you wash and after - that worked significantly better for me - if you have larger Brembo’s brakes or other BBK’s it’s noticeably better at preventing the rust pluming of the brake discs. Some cars are more prone to this like BMW M cars and Porsche. Though this dilution would be considered “off label” I have had no negative effects in 5 years of using this product
@@ACAC89 Unfortunately I already do spray twice, before and after. I also use distilled water in the mix so there aren’t any metals in the water at all. I’m using Hawk HPS pads on Zimmerman cross drilled rotors. Not BBK, just large stock rotor size. This set up doesn’t dust nearly as much as stock did, like you mentioned all German performance sedans (M, AMG, S/RS) do. I also keep my wheels, including barrels, and brakes including rotor, hub/hat and calipers very clean so there isn’t a tone when I wash and it comes off very easily.
Haven’t heard of anyone one using above 5%, so good to know it doesn’t damage anything. I’ll have to try 10%, but that starts to defeat one it’s major benefits of not using much. I’ve had good luck with Hyde’s, so if it’s a wash price wise using 10%, I’d probably just stick with Hyde’s. Thanks for the tip.
@@ACAC89 oh, I add it to my brake cleaner (Brake Buster) at 5% too, so I actually spray it on 3 times. I also blow dry my wheels and rotors thoroughly after washing.
Just washed today and the rotor that came out the best was the one I sprayed with Atom Mac before the wash then Hyde’s after. That one came out fantastic, almost nothing.
Yep I tried 5% with tap water (my tap water is pretty decent) and I noticed virtually no benefit and I spray liberally after cleaning wheels. I thought it was because I wasn't using distilled water. It seems like 5% doesn't do much. I may give 10% a try, but as you said it defeats the purpose of the product being affordable at only 5%.
I understand the bigboi stuff is not as high quality, but surely they are good enough for a home garage to wash the cars once a week etc, keen to hear everyone’s thoughts for keeping the budget low but experience still good
But why? Just pick one of the other 25 companies that originated it all.
If you are justifying things as good enough...
AR675 pro. Super quiet, 15 amps, good flow, great pump, great company support. It is not the quality for the bigboy and other shitty ones, is the quality for the price.
We need a Jony IveXMattOG garage design collaboration 😂
Have you ever thought about putting vent fans in the garage to assist with misting from the pressure washer? It might help keep tools/cabinets/drywall dryer
That's not a bad idea.
“A pre wash (with Touch-less) is great”
Heads up if you’re looking at buying the active 2.3, the auto start/stop doesn’t work with OG hoses
That’s odd. He tested it with the OG hose in the video last week
@@Jose.G.Y You're right, I must have gotten a defective unit
Should work just fine. That pressure switch is really good.
I think a lot of people glossed over was the fact that he didn’t like amplify despite it coming highly recommended. I have a bottle and I’ve used it and I knew that he would not like it. I just knew it. It is harder to work with than OG drying aid and it does not give the end all be all shine a lot are claiming.
As someone who lives in Germany it is very difficult to get my hands on OG Drying Aid, hence I never got to test it. Would you still recommend Bead Maker as an alternative Drying Aid or would you recommend using another product, which I have access to in Europe? I am curious to try out the Bilt Hamber Auto QD and the Gtechniq Quick Detailer. Have you already tried those out?
Yep, I'd do Bead Maker if I didn't have this. The Bilt Hamber and Gtechniq are not nearly as good as Bead Maker.
Matt what would you recommend for a pressure washer that's around $700, runs on a 15 amp circuit and give you over 2GPM at 1000PSI? This is the market that Big Boi and Active seem to have targeted with their product. You say to buy the AR but that requires a 20A circuit.
Comet
Do you recommend anything for water spots? My daily sits outside and gets hit with reclaimed water 3 times a week. Rinseless washing or using CR spotless everyday was too much.
Chemical Guys Water Spot Remover nuked 6 months of water spots easily but there has to be something better.
Maybe throw on a car cover?
Koch chemie FSE.
Hi Matt, I got one of your shirts recently. They are really good quality and comfy but I wonder do you think you might ever get shirts that are a big longer?
I haven't found any that fit well and are long. Someday we plan to make our own from scratch.
@Matt Moreman are those KUHL shorts? If so what model? I just got some KUHL kruisers, seem nice.
They are.
What's the potential ETA/Aimed release date of that V2 of the Armour glass coating? My girlfriend drives my car occasionally and is a wiper maniac as well.
Hey are you junking your towel after using Tarminator or is this stuff safe to throw in the laundry? I get concerned from aerosol products.
I usually just wash it.
do you wash the incredipads with microfibers?
How do you mitigate water with the Swisstrax? I understand they have channels and that your floor is supposed to slope toward the doors, but my floor seems to hold as much water as it drains off. How long does the excess tend to hang around? I really want to pull the trigger on flooring, but have always been concerned about the water issue.
It's usually dry by the end of the day.
Hey i had a question about the drying aid, if i buy the gallon does it need to be diluted or can i just pour it into my sprayer
Don't dilute. It will go in the spray bottle straight.
Do it!! Get a hold of Tommy L Garage. He’s off his rocker, pushing his 3 day old video on his “replacement” Giraffe Pressure washer.
Matt the issue I would have with wearing a watch while washing a car is the possibility of denting or scratching the paint. Why risk it?
I can’t imagine a scenario where that would happen.
I sadly learned from one retailer in Germany that Bilt Hamber products are banned from the EU because some of their products are not compliant with the EU rules. I'll try to figure it out because, to his point, they're hardly anywhere available in the EU.
Can’t imagine using that much drying aid!😳 A couple of spritzes per panel is plenty.
I gotta say that OG color of green shirt it’s pretty legit Uncle, Matty…
Any idea why my adams shampoo seems the strip my collinite coating? Beads great during initial rinse, after contact wash, the final rinse seems to loose beading and sheeting is slower.
Colinite coating? Isn’t colinite a wax?
Hmmm... It could be your water. If it is really hard, that could be leaving stuff behind. 845 is not super durable.
@@ObsessedGarageTrue, just moved into a new house, water seems a bit hard
Which Collinite product are you using?
@@GregoryVeizades845
Is that the new Rag Company wheel mitt? If so how are you liking it?
It’s not. I haven’t gotten one yet.
While GSF feels a little bit slicker to me as well I feel like ADS actually cleans better.
Matt you coated those wheels with armor coating? You made a video for it? I don’t think it’s gliss and DLUX
I don’t think this car has it.
What about OG garage offering with new homes being built across the USA as an option-nice to do electrical and plumbing before the drywall goes up. Just a thought.
There are lots of good renovation companies that can become OG certified.
Glass coating, you need to try Itekt - nothing comes close.
Trying to get people to understand that something is horrible is like trying to separate an opossum from its garbage. they will defend their trash to the death. the only reason people buy garbage in the first place is some perceived savings pocket book wise. It drives me up the wall and I could go on for hours about why I don’t like cheap and why you aren’t actually saving. I’m currently trying to set my boss up with a detailing system for our fleet of work trucks and the cheap philosophy is definitely present. I brought my system from home to wash my work truck the other day and everyone and their mother at my job now wants my setup boss included but nobody wants to spend the money and expects good quality from cheap greenworks or hyper tough crap. Trying to get someone to understand WHY we buy the higher end products and the return they bring and WHY we shouldn’t buy crap in general is like pulling teeth. The cheap stuff doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to and when things fall flat on their face everyone then asks why.
Very well said. I need to just let it go and keep providing information.
Apologize if I missed it - has Matt compared Bilt Hamber to Carpro Lift? I have had decent success using that as a pre wash.
Not yet. I have a bottle coming.
Are you selling the first version or the second revamped version of touch-less?
There is only one version going forward. Pete doesn't keep old versions.
bought bigboi blowr pro at my detailing shop 2 years ago and it's been working flawlessly the entire time, monday to friday getting beaten on every day and you call it junk, okay.
Maybe he’s just being sarcastic or playing around? I doubt he really thinks their products are trash but maybe I’m wrong
I’ve used bigboi blower for ages and pressure washer never had a problem. Think he means there’s better options out there i guess
The same goes for the washing. It's pretty logical to do it that way. Since you are the all knowing oracle (self acclaimed) you should know this already
What?
Get a life @Piglet6256
If I don't sell it its trash.
If I don’t have it in my garage, it is very likely inferior. That’s the whole thing.
lol good talk
Here’s what I learned, you use a LOT more drying aid product than I do haha
What tire brush is that? It looks like it has longer bristles than the one in the store, but I could be mistaken.
Thats the Detail Factory XL Wheel Brush on his website but I think if you on Detail Factory or The Rag Company might have more colors. I use the regular size one and I recommend it the best brush I used
It’s their medium sized tire brush.
@@ObsessedGarage thank you, sir.
Please bring the cayman back. Also pick up the new Milwaukee forge battery.
Sell the Active, I really don’t think you will regret it. I feel it has its place. It looks great, has good numbers and isn’t really that annoying of a sound.
He believes the AR is better and basically the same price. Why would he do that? People buy from Matt because they trust him and if he loses trust people will shop else where.
Yeah...I can't do it. I'd have to want it, and I definitely don't. I would have wanted the 2.0 at a different stage in life. This one, I would absolutely get the Comet or AR instead.
@@asphaltspecialties fair enough, I usually don’t disagree with his choices , and to be honest I haven’t seen a AR 👍🏻
DPC coatings are actually pretty good. Way better than CSL I have used them both.
Ha, ha...

Prime TMR is light years better than CSL. It’s a shame you won’t try it.
Anyone else clean the wife's car 10x more then their own and they just never notice lol
I thought this vehicle and wheels were coated? The pre wash isn’t ph neutral?
They are. It is highly alkaline.
No, the prewash is alkaline and that is not inherently a bad thing. Being PH neutral does not mean it wont attack protection layers and being basic or acidic does not mean it will.
There are many things that factor into the PH level of a product. Some are very caustic or corrosive, and some are not. The ingredients used to blend products are vastly more important than the final PH.
Bilt Hamber Touch-Less and Auto-Foam are both alkaline with different formulas and both are safe for use on coated vehicles.
The PH neutral craze that took over North America was based on faulty understanding and marketing.
@@GregoryVeizades the way I look at it and knowing the work involved in correcting and coating a vehicle I would rather not jeopardize the longevity of the coating and believe there must be a reason these coatings brands have instructed us to use ph neutral soaps.
Big Boi is definitely proper junk. My first foray into detailing I bought their pressure washer thinking I didn’t need to spend more on a pressure washer and I was wrong. Went straight to a Kranzle after a few months of stressful ownership and haven’t looked back…
Pay once cry once
Buy nice or buy twice
Hey Matt when will the garage insulation be available?
I think we are going to launch in July. We have some details to work out.
Dang, now that you mentioned those really want those over the other crap. The magnet idea is awesome.
One, two sprays per panel with the Amplify 🤦♂️ This ain’t bead maker. lol.
People are crazy and still waiting the avalilability of the bigboi wash pro because its sold out. Triplex pump is way better than wobble pump. You get the triplex pump 629.00 first day sale whereas wobble pump is too much money to spend atleast 1000 dollars more.
Obsessed builds in California?
Far be it from me to speak on what’s best for your business but the garage build brick and mortar feels a bit like going backwards. It’s analogous to you opening a detailing shop - when getting to where you are would be a dream of a detail shop. I’d love to hear more around the logic of it vs investing in expanding reach more broadly.
A top of mind idea - You’ve always talked about how your audience is the influencers of their circle. It would make sense to lean on that and have design clients become your network of “salespeople” to their circle. Every referral that converts to a paying design client nets the referrer, for example, 10% of the profit of the referrals.
I just made a video Inside the Hex explaining it. It's a long story.
Also why is delivery with UPS $25?
If that is what it is quoting that is what UPS is charging, but at a deep discount.
@@ObsessedGarage Thank you
I must have missed something - is this the replacement for the GSF snow foam?
No, you’d use this first then GSF.
38:30 anyone realised matt went straight to the wash bucket?
I did. The rinse bucket was almost empty.
Two buckets are nonsense anyway after a proper prewash
@@LSD04nuh uh...I use 6 buckets and 24 wash mitts
3d super pre soak is better than bh touchless and wayy cheaper.
Michelle’s new house? Wait, what did I miss?
There is a video on Inside The Hex about it!
Yeah…long story. It will be an investment house for our kids during the school week. Their new school is pretty far away. She has a job now, so she is paying for it. We joke that it is her house.
Cars clean bro love your videos been with you since the start but clean a dirty car
How do you get keyboards with no punctuation keys? Every one I've ever had, has them.

We are getting a second house next to the kids school for weekdays as an investment.
I would like to suggest to rinse off the prewash from top to bottom instead of from the bottom to the top? So you remove the dirt that came lose downwards instead of up the car ;D
Doesn't matter from a scratching standpoint. However one advantage of bottom to top is it is easier to see where you've rinsed already and you are less likely to miss a spot.
@@GregoryVeizades Dang if you can’t miss a spot with a 40 degree stream you have bigger issues
Don't overthink it. It takes four seconds to rinse a panel.
55 year old English man here, detailing for a MANY years.
Tried dozens and dozens of every type of product, and Bilt Hamber is the best product for the money in every area.
Their double speed wax for example, might be a bit sticky to buff, but it lasts months, gives a decent gloss, really hydrophobic, and it only costs £15 for a 250ml tub !
I use auto foam, auto wheel, korrosol, and can not find another brand to replace any of those. They are fantastic products, and cheap too.
Anyway, about your video. Christ mate, you can talk the legs off a donkey. And why are you cleaning a clean car ?
If you have tried so much stuff why are you still using Auto foam? when Touchless is superior in every way.
@@Jamie-Evo Touchless is slightly better at removing 'some' types of contaminates, auto foam is better at removing other types. I tried it, and my experience mirrors a couple of comparison tests online, so I honestly don't know where you get this idea that touchless is 'superior in every way' because that is rubbish.
Auto foam is cheaper, and my car never gets very dirty anyway as I run a work van all week, and the car only gets used for fun times at the weekends.
If touchless was that much better, how come all the tests online do not show it to be 'superior in every way' ? If touchless was so much better why would anyone stull buy auto foam, in fact why would BH still sell auto foam ?
Come on Jamie matey, don't buy into the hype and bs, do your own research my friend.
I used Auto Foam for over 10 years, 6 days a week on multiple cars per day and at the time it was the best pre wash available.
I then tried Touch-less when it came out and as a pre wash it removes more grime and the surface is left cleaner for the contact wash.
It is also less degrading to waxes and sealants and with the new formula it works out cheaper than Auto foam due to less product being required in the lance.
@@Jamie-Evo Yes I agree the PH is lower and is slightly less harsh to protective coatings, absolutely.
Maybe it's the water quality in my area (Lincs), it is very hard water, lots of limescale, and I didn't find touchless worked as well unless I used the same dilution (pir) as auto foam. I just couldn't get away with it being slightly weaker.
I worked as a valeter at a main dealership for 4 years, so I have some experience of multiple service washes daily, and trade-in deep cleans for the pitch, etc.
I love the email I got today from OG. “All snow foams are worthless, except this one”. So all the other products you have been pimping for years was just marketing bullshit? Pretty weak guys…..
Yup, i unsubscribed right after that email. Once he gets exclusivity, he will bash everything else. It’s all about money to him.
Email said what?
So what snow foam has OG sold or pushed??? Matt has never liked them. Only sold Adam’s car shampoo and Koch-chemie shampoo.
I didn’t write it, but it doesn’t say anything like that. I would suggest just reading the words, not adding all backstory that I’ve never said.
Ummmm I got the same email. It actually says “Touch-Less is now my go to for pre-washing my car before any contact wash is done. I've always joked that snow-foams were useless, and the Europeans were crazy for pre-washing. Now that I've been using Bilt-Hamber Touch-Less, my mind has been changed and its made me redo my whole cleaning process”
