Ha! Today, in that very same place, a Kookaburra launched an attack, from that very same post, on my wife's egg on toast. The bugger successfully flew away with half the toast and egg. It bet is the very same bird!
oh man I do hate seagulls.. Im afraid of birds in general..but seagulls are the absolut worst! I lived in new zealand in 2019 and I was there with a girl at the dock and I was eating a chicken sandwhich. I saw some seagulls 100 meters away.. anyways.. since I dont like tomatoes I threw the tomatoes around and let me tell you.. very very veeeery bad move by me. Now here comes literally 40-60 seagulls flying next to me and the girl which made me so fkn scared man that I literally lost the whole fkn sandwhich and the seagulls go apeshit! I was so afraid that I took the girl in the arm and used her as a shield! xD oh man.. I was 20 years old at the time.. today im 24.. I need to try and get over my fear of birds somehow but I fkn hate them, especially seagulls. When I drive around in my car and see some baby seagulls that cant fly yet I try to kill as many as possible, I think I have killed maybe around 15 seagulls so far.. but it isnt enough.. anyways ye..

Kookaburra is glad his hooman subjects bring him offerings of meat. All praise the merry Kookaburra, sitting 'top the old sign post. Gum trees went out of fashion 100 years ago.
I live in a suburb in the middle of Sydney. One day, heard a noise behind me, there was a kookaburra killing a young snake on the fence. I just stood and watched till he flew away!
@@ricken21 In a way, yes! We have Duck Creek behind us, running thru a reserve, a street away from us! It’s full of brown and black snakes, I never go there but people do walk there! The kookaburra probably caught the snake down there and flew to our yard to kill and eat it! We have a neighbour who piles firewood, which attracts snakes, and we have to be careful of mice and rats, they also attract snakes! Aus is such a great place to live!
@@ricken21 sorry to take so long to reply! We live a street away from a reserve that has a creek running thru it, there are a lot of brown and black snakes, both poisonous and the brown snakes can be very aggressive, especially in the mating season - they chase you! They're bbq sausage bandits. They've taken sausages straight from the bbq hotplate. Take it to a tree branch and pow wow it. Be Warned when they're watching.
If there were no sighs to please don’t feed the birds. I would of given the bird food so it would not of swept down on my plate. They are amazing birds.
This is about the 3rd time I'd watched it happen. It had already swooped and got something off this same lady. I saw it had come back so just timed the zoom and framed it up, the rest is sheer luck.
They are cute but they can be brutal when bashing something to death. They eat young snakes, blue tongue lizards, rats, other birds - many things. I've seen them.
The person filming knew what was gonna happen lol
I certainly did. Watched this happen several times, knew what was up 😉
@@An_Arbitrary_Miscellany Great cinematography 🎥
@@An_Arbitrary_Miscellanyyou're a tad evil 😊

Bet you it was! They're pretty cheeky little dudes.
Funny thought of a bird eating an egg
Cheeky little bugger ey,
Still cool af,that means he likes you(and ur breakfast)
Cheeky little flooofs
After he ate, he had a good laugh.
They learnt their craft from the convicts
🙈🙉🙊
He observed the situation very carefully…..then flew the attack…..he seems to be used to it…..lol
One stole food right from my hands
You snooze it, you loose it.
Rotfl… soo cheeky! I love Kookaburras, even their name makes me smile, adorable little creatures! ❤
The 😺 great video ,I love the kookaburra, and the noise they can make ,always makes me smile and laugh 👍
He can steal my heart any day! 💗 😍
So cute
Love kookaburras so intelligent
Smart bird waited till there are more spectators before swooping in right before their eyes. Very weird flex.
He's educating the humans. Students gather for class, teacher does demo. Class dismissed.
That's nothing compared to seaguls, they attack in groups man!

@@dolphinbeak jesus i did not expect that at the end
Iove all creatures, great and small, and I love seagulls! Not so much humans!
I wish we had these little characters in the USA! ❤
Awww, he was hungry 😋 I wish I could go there with a plate with yummy foods for him to steal. This kind of thief I don’t mind. so cute ❤
Me too
This kookaburra has the same taste in food as me.

Cheeky little bugger😂
0:23 He looks at the camera before the attack. He knows.
They've grabbed at least 3 sandwiches out of my hand over the last 18 months.
The magpies put them in their place during spring time!
I don't believe it. No, not the act itself, but the fact that this doesn't have a million views yet.
Well trained bird.
Apparently it was trained to do that on cue.
A precision strike!
I'll guaranty that wasn't🦅 his first rodeo.
That kookaburra is a very experienced ambush delincuent. Everything is on tape. Inform police yesterday.
😅 A mulher chateada de perder o café da manhã kkk

EASY PICKINGS. The cheeky buggers will take a hot sausage from a BBQ
This was premeditated, he picked out his victim before they had their food served.
Yeah, they'll do that.
How rude!! 😂😂
how did the cameraman knows that the bird will steal the food😨
