Next big little- pacific coast highway from Seattle around the Olympic peninsula and then as far south as you can manage- 2000 miles to san Diego.
Did it for my honeymoon in a mustang- just incredible roads “curves next 60 miles” signs, ocean cliff tops, temperate rain forest…

I love seeing people enjoy our local roads and twisties that we take for granted in back yard. It appears you are hitting these roads through the week, where the weekends are so busy it almost ruins the trip, and thinking back riding the dragon on a GPZ900 Ninja in the mid eighties; pre internet, there was little to no traffic other than locals on 129 at all. Last year they did a complete repaving on the Cherohala with new blacktop resurface that made it one of our favorites. Looking back through your past videos I do not see whether you carry camping gear on your bike, but if you do on the lower side of the Cherohala, several miles before the restraints and Harley shop in Tellico Plains there is a side road to the left called River Road. Following it you pass Bald River Falls, and where the concrete stops and the off road starts there is Spivy Cove Campground with 16 campsites, and a whopping $6 a night to stay. Further down the road there are many first come first serve campsites that run as low as $4 a night and not too far off the beat and path, and an excellent ride following the river. Loved the video, hope you had a great time visiting our little spot on earth, stay safe and as the old bikers always say,. keep the rubber side down!

Yep I get what you're saying Mr teapot. The very best friends I have, they all ride bikes. There's something about the biking community that brings out honest genuine people who would help you in a heartbeat if you needed it. I've always ridden but health wise I'm a little more limited what I can do now. I am however off to the TT in a few weeks and I'm really looking forward to being back there. Being out on my old VTR it just sets you free. Your dont even need a huge ride, just out for breakfast with mates is fine and the occasional longer trip. I could not imagine being without a bike and that big v twin just sets me free.

I wanted to start taking motorcycle trips about 10 years ago. Lot of people told me the bike would beat me up and I wouldn't enjoy myself. I bought soft luggage and a comfort seat and away I went best thing I ever did for myself. My uncle was in his eighties called me a light weight. Not really it was worse then that lol. He road a BSA across the country in the seventies. Told me how bad do you want to go. That sealed it for me. Love your videos

Strangely, I now live in your old neck of the woods but spent a decade and a half living in the USA. Unfortunately, the time I had a bike over there the roads in the part of Texas I lived tended to be more straight than twisty. Now back in Scotland watching this is making me nostalgic for the US. Hope to take a trip to New England in the fall (see, even got the lingo me!) which is where I lived latterly. Thanks for the shout out although I don't remember playing you at rugby.🤣

Hi Bruce, my better half and myself are currently on holiday in Switzerland. The roads here are billiard table smooth and there are twisty mountain passes everywhere. I would love to see you do as many mountain passes as possible on a sub 500cc motorbike. That would be quite a challenge I think. Some of the passes aren't open until end of June, eg, The Saint Bernard pass and close again around 3 months later. Even in a car we found some of the passes quite challenging, especially with some of the local inhabitants straightlining the corners. What do you think Bruce ?
