Super helpful video! I failed twice because i didn’t even shrink my tint when doing my windshield lol. Now i’m excited to get it done right! Thank you!!
that's why I was having to go over my windshield twice to get a good layer of the dryer sheet film onto the glass; I was wetting the dryer sheet real well, but I failed to wet the windshield! I believe this is super important!
Brown jersey gloves instead of the hard card...pushing the film down...less chance of creasing the film...for beginners...u can handle the heat too...n use your fingers and palm to push the film down...and divide the film fingers as you form the film to the window... Work for me since the 90's...when we used chizles and rocks to hammer the film on...
Thanks for all the tips, I’ve taken your advice and changed a few things up and got my shrinking a lot better faster and less mistakes… also I have some of you tools I’m using now and will continue to get more as needed
Ya he's so patient other on here rush their words and move like a cheatua. I've learned a ton from this guy. I don't ever need to pay another person to do mine again and I might even start doin other people's
Thanks for the mention! Had it playing on the TV and didn't even see my comment at first. My wife was like, "Did I just see your headshot?" and had to rewind to see😅
Just got my lexan tint in , regular tint and not ceramic. Is it much harder to shrink ? Haven't Had success tinting the top part of the windshield glass , I can get the lower half but top corners always bunch and i get creases. So frustrating throwing tint away
Defrost lines will be fine as long as you clean the inside with a non scratch scrub pad before applying the film. When the tint needs to be removed and if new film is reapplied, remove the old film with a steam gun and your defrost lines will not get damaged

How many volts should heat gun be to be considered a good heat gun? Love your videos!
Volts are the same for every gun. They probably have a max of 220v .
The important thing is that it has enough heat.

May I ask. How long does it take to paste the film like a professional when you just got out of the job?
what settings do you use on your heatgun? high or low? I believe there's only 2 settings on that gun
This was super helpful!

Hello, i have question about tinting the back window.. what will happen for the defrost line after removing the tint??

How are you 'tacking' it down?
Great job
I use dryer sheet cause I live dangerously
my film dont tack after dryer sheet residue drys. Only had bounty tho.
Can I order preshrunk tint for my car from you?
If youve never used a heat gun use a hair dryer on high amd go slower. Itll work and itll keep u from burning yourself or the tint u less u try
It'll also take you half an hour per window
Solid
Ceramic only shrinks up and down.fingers up and down are shrinking with a heat gun effortless.
I heard that using dryer sheets can lead to cancer.
Are you familiar with that claim and is that why you use that brand
If it ain't broke why fix it. Just shrink it the way you always have.
