Matt is a patient teacher. Not everyone can teach and make it understandable but I’ve learned more from his videos and can only imagine what I could do if I was around him daily.

It’s wild how I learned a few things as well just from a couple of trial failures. The way the tint reacts is one and I realized you pretty much work 1/4 at a time

Love to see old man learning from an expert, this is very impressive how age doesn’t matter and this old man show it. Many young people are just wasting time learning nothing. This old man has a great attitude 😂😂😂😂😂

Man I always get a crease on the top corner when doing this. Got better but it kills me. Any tip? You’re an awesome teacher homie!

    • @patdeleva7072

You can do a few things. When you’re on the last “pass” or two nearing the top of the window, finish the corner all the way up before shrinking the last few inches into the middle, it helps prevent you from “working yourself into a corner” where you’re bringing the tension from the middle out to your corners.
Also, if I do end up working most of my slack to a top corner, I like to come above the film (heat gun nice and far back so you don’t burn the edge) and blow some hot air underneath it before coming right back over the top and shrinking. Something about getting a bit of hot air under the film seems to disperse that corner tension a bit more easily for me. Hope it helps!

If you starting to do window tint, I would personally recommend the regular film, not ceramic, solar free is a great product, after you can shrink that film, then try ceramic. Once you can do ceramic then you can buy products like Geoshield, my first purchase it was a standar geoshield pro classic and I wasted the whole film, price was $250 toooo expensive for training good luck.
