I own 2 MKC blades, they are the most overhyped influencer heavy company out there. The sheets are 💩. The speadgoat in magnacut is a great blade, but is was $225...... The war goat is an overpriced speedgoat with thicker stock and a ring. It may also be the worst EDC sheeth on the market. I can tell this guy hasn't carried it, just another marketer .
If you want a ring on your knife, the best I’ve ever seen was TKell and use the g10 ring. You get the function without the hazard. And TKell knives are in the BEST conversation for edc and tactical knives.
I love how they throw around “tactical “ and “self defense “ when branding knives …. Gives the average everyday Joe the opinion a blade automatically gives them the edge in a self defense situation…. When in reality the worst thing you can use to protect yourself is a knife if you’re not properly trained… I love the design of this piece…I missed the drop notification and missed out…. It will be back.
$300 is pretty damn steep pricing if you ask me, and a thermoplastic sheath? for that price? Nope. I own a TOPS CUT 4.0. I think I paid about $140 for it. It might have raised in cost but I would still choose it over this blade and I am sure its $100 less expensive for the CUT even if the price has gone up from what I paid. Oh, and the TOPS CUT has a better sheath and those locking loops, which is very flexible for carrying the blade.
Ive got a magnacut stonewall skinner. Its a good knife, i do feel like they are overpriced for what you get. Seems like it would be more resonalble at the $200-250 price point.
I'm starting to feel like these companies are taking advantage of us. Montana knife company is insane with their prices. But youtube influencers will say anything for a few knife. Really like someone justify this price?
@@dutchvanderbilt9969 it’s just an opinion, 1. The larger size allows for increased firing capacity, better handling, improved accuracy and a wide range of customization options. mkc is ridiculously overpriced lol bradford makes similar purpose knives in the US with a much broader range of steels for literally like $150-$200. i got a guardian 3.5 in vanadis4e for literally $140 then these clowns want like $300 for some 52100😂😂😂
Probably ALREADY sold out. Create a frenzy and only make a few and charge what you want, awesome knife though. Every time I've looked at their knives,by the time I've found out about it,,, it's gone.
Starting to? The past decade has seen everyone from the single knife maker to the big companies getting out of pocket with prices, especially for fixed blades. I see neck knives over 400...a 2 inch neck knife ffs!
No, but these knife companies are getting out of pocket for these tools. You're talking like this company has one guy, in his barn, hand forging... gtfo. Mass produced knife blanks DONT demand 300$.
For over 300 smackers. Thats Benchmade butterfly tax talk. Might as well use that money to buy a pump shotty or sword.
I recommend the TOPS 4.0 its a better knife and sheath at about half the cost of the MKC.
For the small price of 325
Everything isn’t for everyone
%100 dude….$325+ after tax and shipping. Knife game needs to catch up to the gun industry.
There is a point of diminishing return
Honestly, I’m a keyboard warrior however I would drop 500$ + dollars on a good knife personally this one doesn’t do it for me
Similar at Walmart $14,99 😂

Opinel makes a carbon steel paring knife for about $11.
Tkell all the way. Better ergos, great company and solid forever tool!
Looks like a Tkell nightstalker. Tkell knives is my favorite knife company
Tkell knives look like the junk from a gas station
@@Longtail_editsWCUELOL I have 3 TKELL knives and definitely not junk

I agree I have 3 TKELL knives including the Nighthawk
It’s a cool knife but at that price I’d rather spend another $75 and pick up that new S&W bodyguard 2.0
Yes and avoid a knife fight altogether
Cold steel has a similar one for around $20-25 bucks
Whats the name please?😮
@@ricardovalentin2410 The closest one I found by Cold Steel is called "BIRD & GAME" but it's like $35.

A little glaze....

Dauntless Manufacturing 💪😁
Very nice blade .
Cool knife. I know the Company well, but $300, ouch. It’s just not affordable for the average person.
I'd rather take my TKell Nightstalker than this knock off
Simple design , for this price i can go into insane fixed blade brands with way more steel. This is a horrible price for a low utility fixed blade
I didn’t have the words or knowledge, I think you said it best!
What is the Rockwell hardness rating? I hear its only 60 which is below the 62-65 optimal heat treatment
Mass production knife prices are a joke now
Good thing this literally isn’t a mass production knife.
I'm starting to feel like these companies are taking advantage of us.

Spyderco has a paring knife that is way better after you put a flat file to the handle for gripping
I need to look at getting myself a pocket fixed blade
Food for thought, you dress around your gear, you should carry a full sized fighting pistol and a full sized knife concealed on your person. 🤷🏻
