Uganda and food. When I was in Uganda, it was like I was eating something every 2 hours. You turn your head left, you see mishikaki. You turn right, there is fish and matoke. You turn back, there is rolex or chips fried chicken. I cannot wait for April - a week in Uganda. There is no way someone can starve in Uganda. No wonder Museveni said that even someone without a brain can survive in Uganda. Amazing country.

As an African myself, i thought that I wasn't interested in this episode because of the market. i was skipping through until i stumbled into eddie episode. not sure but his demeanour , his calmness just attracted me. I was not disappointed, his tour of the market was top notch . the sense of the humor of the ladies was out of this world, 1 admiring the man and other admiring the phone....lol.. I don't know if there is anything I missing or hidden from us. But overall Eddie is the guy on this episode. From the UK. I was in Ggaba a few weeks ago. I went out on a boat and then went to one of those fish restaurants. Fantastic lake fish with chips, covered with tomato, onions and avocado. It was delicious.
I am following him from South Africa. I confess I was swallowing with Yves like a dog each time he swallowed.. The food in many humble places here in Africa looks like it is from top food outlets anywhere..
You met beautiful souls. The boda boda from Ggaba charged you just the right fare without exaggerating ( I live near there and I pay 10k for a much shorter distance before Owino). The old lady who sold you juice was also a kind soul despite the language barrier. Your guide crowned it up with a beautiful tour at the end
Its true what teacher eddy said we believe that we give birth to a child and God will provide for them. Greetings from Kenya Kino, have you noticed how many happy faces you've seen in Uganda. I've always wished that the other continents would see how happy we Africans are generally. Thank you for showcasing that.
Loved the lake, and market scenes with every corner you took. The hustling and bustling of the place is just full of good energy and beautiful smiling faces. One of your best!
