- I ride from Mityana to Mubende, in Western Uganda, in Africa.
On the way, I stop for lunch on the side of the road, where local people sell some goat meat skewers, and I enjoy a much needed feast of goat meat before being questioned by the locals about my journey.

"Morning my friends" never gets old🇰🇪
😂 ye
Hopefully when hes done he makes some merch with that slogan! I’d buy that shirt!
its a big lesson that yves replied for kids "you have food on your hand".....That is the problem of Africa, even we have everything we beg for foreigners, have food on their hand but begging, you see how kids grow with this mentality, africa needs education, even having all the resources and wealth we beg "having food on the hand and beg".....we just have to work on our society knowing what he has in his hand, children has to learn not to beg but to work and to grow by themselves
And you have figured out that foreigners are not begging alot of people in United States are begging including their government. Their envoys are on the continent every single day begging us to sell them out minerals for pennies and begging us to take overpriced loans Interests rates of more than 300. All major American cities, homeless on the streets. And their politicians are sending money to Israel to fight and permanently remove the Palestinians population in the name of some stupid book some con artist wrote
I think from watching your videos that the nature in Uganda is very beautiful and worth visiting...the people are also nice and well behaved, which makes this country great...
I like it very much.
happy times Yves 💕💕⭐💪🏻
Thank you for a nice comment. Greetings from Uganda 🇺🇬
You are invited to Uganda.
Still can't get over how green Uganda is.
Same here. It is amazingly green!
Go to Rwanda, it's even greener.
Every country has its beauty and uniqueness. The problem with Africans they want to compete which country is better.
@@MaryMary-ci2ek Is that what you got from my comment? All I said is I love the greenery.
Try southeast asia
Where you were eating the goats meat from, they were laughing at themselves that they dont know english😅
Another fantastic episode Yves. And the people of Uganda 🇺🇬 seem so chilled out and relaxed and friendly it must be a joy to have been there
Uganda is so beautiful if they take care of the infrastructure no country in Africa can compete with it.
Just a shame that so many Ugandans don't care and throw their rubbish everywhere. I've never seen so much rubbish. I guess that comes back to the lack of waste management infrastructure that you mention.
But very pooor
@@esthermaluki5593Every country has some poor and rich people
You've had enough to drink today Mr Tosh, you are now talking nonesense, go home.
@@boyka356 hahaha!
Just returned from Uganda back to Manchester England. Fort Portal is my favorite place. I was watching you 1st videos on Uganda about 6 weeks ago. I've just done 26 days out in the country. Safe travels 🙏🏾 now
African People love you, friendly and very supportive😄
I love ugandans simplist and hospitality.
Very nice green land which seem to be having alot of food and everything. Once this country work on infrasture, no country will beat it in africa coz it has everything
Wow Yves, Barbeque Tender Meat. Beautiful Cows Scary Horns! Uganda the land of Kind People!
😁🤣 The guy at 7:20 is actually asking to drive/ride. He continues to say he doesn't know what your kind of bike is called in English and also that he would like to ride😅 it is funny because he is looking at his friends with a tone that suggests he won't be getting the chance to ride.
I think he says he does not know how to say he wants to ride the bike. He says "Sikamanyi ako mu luzungu ako vugamu".
I am an ardent fan and follower of Yves from Nairobi,Kenya. His adventures keep me in times perspective. I"d like to suggest he inserts bits of maps to indicate positions he is transiting. Good luck and keep up with the adventure spirit.
In the previous video I saw some trees which I thought it grows only in Ethiopia! (Papyrus tree) if I call it right. But Uganda has every kind of trees and very green
I love Africa wiyh it's organic food n fruits... Everything is normal
We come from far with you from iraq to gomole Ethiopia now we are in uganda,my favourite utuber ❤
Was hoping you had a Wednesday video when I was in the shower this morning, got to work and BAM, Wednesday content! Thanks for the content my friend!
i live in sweden but i haven't seen such tricycle except for those to disabled so i can understand to the crowd why they are wondering.
Here in the Netherlands I sometimes see these with only 2 wheels, with the rider lying almost on his back in it :)
4:35 i think that is Ankole cow they are found in Uganda, Rwanda and some parts of Kagera region in Tanzania they are unique. Salaam from Dar es Salaam 🇹🇿🇹🇿
I loved how you appreciated the beauty of the cow. Yves is so spontaneous
You are always welcome to Uganda the pearl of Africa any time, thanks so much sir for your travel to our country😊

Uganda people really make the country, just awesome 🙌🤩. The fruit and scenery just compliment them 😎👍
The Holy Spirit placed the Bible at your table specially for you to read it Yves! 🙏 ✝️ 🕊 May God bless you and keep you safe and sound 🙏
It’s funny how the cows even look at you in amazement!!

Yves morning my friend! Great vlog 😃👍
Tricky terrain, and you get there. When you get to Botswanna you will see the most amazing cattle.
Thanks Yves
I like the way you answered those begging kids saying they're hungry, "your hungry and you have food in you hands" 😂
I started watching ur videos yesterday and I can't stop
Awesome leg and great lunch convos. I actually think the roads look very good in the main.

good morning my friend . awesome
Awesome!!!
Wow!The best room/hotel I've seen so far in your videos. At Mubende.
Yes, and yet affordable 😊
Good morning my friends,I like your opening greetings before you start l wish you good uck where you are going
The beauty of Uganda 🇺🇬 is it it's food delicacy
Welcome to Mubende Yves! I lived and worked there for 3 years and just recently moved back to Kampala but it was nice to see you braving the bad roads on this journey..part of the road from Mityana to Mubende is under construction so a mask would have been helpful to have for the dust as u saw. In Mubende there is a place called Nakayima Hill which is very very uptop and gives u a very nice and beautiful aerial view of the town. Am not sure u would be able to cycle up though since its a steep climb but thw road is very good. (Tarmacked) Cant wait to see you arrive in the cold and laso beautiful Fort Portal town.Cheers!
Welcome back
wish to see you finish this journey in one peace in capetown
On 23/3/24 you posted an old video, and again today 27/3 someone wished you a happy new year, that means it’s an older video too, we have Easter Friday this week 🤔
Happy new year my friend.🎉
Morning my friend I love how Uganda child ask "where are you going 😅
Where a😅re you ngoin'gi
@@patriciakariuki4693 offcoure you are" enjoying yourselfu "😂😂
Baganda are peaceful people, even talking is peaceful.
The talk may be 'peaceful' but never the tone. Greeting a stranger with "What's wrong with you?" is definitely off.
Safe travels 🎉🎉🎉
morning my friends...from...you hear that.kino is about to get in action
Eageerly waiting to rwanda...lets go KINO
Sooo much food in Uganda! And some stupid stereotype is seated somewhere thinking Africans are dying of hunger .
Imagine.
Morning my friends😂😂
Kino..., astar guy within the journey
The part where you were eating goat meat they were not talking about you. They were laughing at themselves for not being able to speak more english and then they talked about your bike. 😂
@@SpykeASCwhy steal his bike?! Ugandans are very friendly people and nobody would even be interested in stealing the bike of someone marketing their country.
@@SpykeASCSteal? that's not a nice thing to say

If I ever get the chance to travel to Africa I’m trying all the street food now thanks to yves. He really makes it look so good.

Fort portal is the most coolest and green town in Uganda with lots of tourists attractions, it has nice people and beautiful women. If you had passed through Mbarara, you were going to see long horned ankle beautiful cows.

I am sure they assume it’s a wheelchair 😂.
Hope to see you in Zimbabwe soon

super... 😊
Hey Yves, those guys when they say stand up they actually mean stop. Its a direct translation from their language which actually means stop but comes out different
Menarik 🤩
Best youtuber.
Here in the U.S in Texas ,they also have Bulls ,with very Long Horns their called Texas Longhorn Bulls,
All the bad structures are on the main road and the beautiful houses are on the hills or hidden
Nice girl
Some people don't want to sell their land to developers
Well... if you as a private person have the means to build a nice house, you certainly won't build it right on a dusty main road where it would quickly attract the attention of not so nice people.😆
nice
A new journey begins again

10:37 man in blue.. Welcome to Uganda... sipping beer
The cows are known as the ‘Ankole Long Horned Cows’. Which are native and predominantly found in Western Uganda.
I'll pack my bike and try to catch you up to Cape Town😂
When are you passing by us in Namibia. Kino yves
lmaol the goat meet sure had a bite !
Mityana to Mumbende.... quite a distance on a bike.
@13:13 YIKES! Had to rewind that a couple of times. Big knife in one hand, and looks to be packing heat under that shirt?
Encore Bravo!
Kino needs to understand his in africa people are curious his riding a different kind of bike people never saw not everything has bad intentions
Morning ma frends
Nice video! Why this much gap to post vids? (Dec - March???)
At 3:43 you see someone with a geared bicycle! Most of the bikes you see are single speed it seems.
Uganda is more friendly n the mityana road was under repair, that's y it's the pearl of Africa.
