wow that's awful, I just got mine yesterday but if I have that issue and come up with a solution I'll let you know. you still have the USB adapter in the PS5, right? hopefully it's not defective.
@@techtips Yh all plugged in,tried reseting everything but it just won’t pick anything up headphones work because I used a aux to the controller but you lose all features when doing so they was working wireless fine until they went off ran out of ideas
For some reason mines had a blue colored blocker inside the usb port if u guys buy a headset and can’t plug it in check for that little blue blocker and take it out carefully with a knife and finger nail clippers to pull it out. I didn’t know what was going on and it was driving me crazy till I watched this guys review and he showed the port clearly and that his didn’t have that blue blocker. With that being said thank you and I subscribed because u honestly just helped me in a way u didn’t even intend to in the video.
@@techtips yeah my ps5 is new. It wasn’t the ps5 with the problem it was the little usb stick they give with the headphones. For some reason they put a blocker in the usb I thought it was supposed to be there but it’s not which I seen thanks to your video.
have you tried using them with a wired connection with a 3mm audio jack cable? please try it if you can and tell me if you have to turn the headset on for it to work with a wired connection, or if it works even if it’s off
@@techtips no. I bought them from GameStop and bought the 2yr warranty with them. I always buy the warranties when I buy electronics. Anyway, I found out what was causing the issue of not being able to connect to the dongle. The instruction guide that comes with the headset does not tell you that the whole dongle itself (the black plastic) is a button. If you push the whole dongle till the light flashes, it resets and then you can reconnect the headset to it. I haven’t had an issue since I reset it. Sony needs to put this in the instructions and train their PS team. Even the PS tech on their help line didn’t know about the button and told me I must have a faulty headset and to file a warranty claim. 🙄
IF YOUR HAVING ISSUES AND DONE RESET THE ADAPTER AND HEADSET TRY TURNING IT OFF WHILE PLUGGED INTO THE C-type cord. once i turned my playstation on with my headset plugged into a c-type that’s connected to the playstation they connected right up once i clicked my users profile on PS.
can anyone answer my question .. did you try to play games with the headset and the sametime you pairing the bluetooth with PC to hear media or youtube at the same times?
Since I have a portal that the headset connects to, if you want to connect it back to the PS5, you hold the power button for a few seconds till the blue or white light pops up, and on the ps5 there will be a pop up window that says pulse elite detected, YOU HAVE TO PRESS THE PLAYSTATION BUTTON THEN, and a connect button will show
@@techtips so, you assure that all the features including 3D Lossless sounds are working wirelessly with no issues? You don't need the cable connected to have all the features working
Mine dropped the connection randomly, I reset the pairing on the headset but now it won't connect to the PlayStation. Returning mine. Great start for a premium product
Mine was working fine but they randomly disconnected now they don’t work lights flash makes noises but won’t connect so frustrating any ideas please?
Same problem here. Can't connect to anything now!
@@NickFry99 it’s a nightmare was enjoying them whilst they was working now useless got to wait till Monday to try send back 🤞🏻

Finally i found a useable video for my problem thank you man

ah I see, that's really odd sounds like a manufacturing error. great you were able to remove it.
Bro I've been having a hard time connecting my Ps5 headset. If I use any other headset it connects seamlessly but this one is so finicky
have you tried using them with a wired connection with a 3mm audio jack cable? please try it if you can and tell me if you have to turn the headset on for it to work with a wired connection, or if it works even if it’s off
I wish I would have never bought the pulse elite. So many issues. They just sit in the drawer now and I went back to using the old pulse set.
do you still have time to return them?

Does the USB need to be allways connected?
Doesn't it work without it?

Did all of this and they’re still not connecting
Did all that but still won’t play sound through headphones
Do you have to keep that link in the back at all times when using the headset or is it only to get it connected?
unfortunately you need to leave it there :\
Great Review Bro. Subscribed.
Thanks for subscribing!
I hear the game but we'll I didn't get an update notification nor can people hear me in voice chat
Should the cable be always connected while playing?
no, just when it needs to be charged.
@@techtips Why is it very long then?
So you can still play when the battery dies or is low, just like with wireless controller cables.
@@techtips so, you assure that all the features including 3D Lossless sounds are working wirelessly with no issues?
You don't need the cable connected to have all the features working
I had mine working for a week then they disconnected I don't understand
seems a lot of people are having issues unfortunately
What is the thing you get with the mic that said you need a screw
it's a hanger but you'd need your own screw to use it and find somewhere to attach it to. i don't use it.
@@techtipswhy is the mic not connecting?
Bro you helped a lot
Thx a lot dude!
This was harder than it needed to be
How do I register it again ?
My usb doesn't go all the way in is this normal cant connect ?I have Ps5 original uk
have you tried multiple usb ports? and it's definitely facing the correct way?
@techtips Yes got a replacement no problems with it must have faulty pins
Mine is really tight but it fit. I wonder if I should return it nust in case.
Randomly disconnecting, what is the solution? 😢
at the moment maybe return to Sony unfortunately... idk if it's a software or hardware issue, but hopefully software so they can patch it.
I hope software 😔
I will wait. Maybe update software to headset coming
Maybe USB adapter
Thanks much appreciate your help!!!
I was struggeling for 30 minutes until i noticet that the usb-c was destroyed. The just sent an non Wirkung cable to me
Mine won't update
Mine dropped the connection randomly, I reset the pairing on the headset but now it won't connect to the PlayStation.
Returning mine.
Great start for a premium product
seems a lot of them have issues, good call to return it.
Mines doing the same thing!
Thanks very much
Thank you!
Thanks
You are boss
umm yea. this doesn’t connect..
👍🏾
Worse headset ever
I agree with her now I have 6 months and Sony is procrastinating with me it never works
What a crappy piece of equipment. The 3ds was just plug and play. This shit is frustrating. Fk consoles. Pc gaming all the way.
other consoles do it better and don't require the USB-A adapter, not sure why Sony still does it this way but yeah it's annoying.
Keep begging
Can I use the newer USB for the older headset?
THANK YOU !!
Thanks you 🎉
Tysm
Thanks
Thanks so much
