Kirstin played Dorothy and both witches, Scott played the Scarecrow, Mitch played the Tin Man, Avi played the Cowardly Lion, Kevin played Toto, Todrick Hall played the Wizard. PTX really got a chance to use their musical theater chops in this one!
Oh, and the dog Dorothy was holding at the beginning is Todrick's dog - named Toto.
And Scott, Avi and Mitch were the lollipop guild and Scott and Kevin were the wicked witch's guards as well.
Don't forget that the monkey on Todrick's shoulder represents the Monkey Army that the Wicked Witch of the West had.

Todrick Hall is from the same town as Scott, Mitch & Kirstie. He's a few years older & went to different schools, but met them in community theater.
This is a project of love from Toddrick Hall. His favorite movie is the Wizard of Oz. His dog, named Toto was held by Kirstie in the beginning.

One of my favorites, their use of songs to retell the story is fantastic. absolutely Love Kirstie's line as she comes in as the wicked witch.."I like Your Beard"...makes me laugh every time. Love the reaction you two.

Definitely need to see Scott and Mitch doing Defying Gravity on their channel Superfruit. Check out the bloopers at the end too, it's great.
The members of PTX play most of the parts. If you go back and look Kirstie is Dorothy, Glinda, Elphba. Scott is workman, one of the munchkins, Scarecrow, and a guard. Mitch is a workman, one of the munchkins, the Tin Man. Kevin is one of the workman, a guard and Toto. Avi is a workman, one of the munchkins, and the Lion. Toddrick is the Wizard. The dog is Toddrick's dog named Toto. There were 2 stand-ins for Dorothy and Scarecrow when Kirstie is Elphba. Toddrick designed and directed all of this. I watch it over and over again and see new things every time.
Y'all need to watch this again and listen carefully to the song the song because the song cover that they chose is telling the story and if you notice the song that Todrick gave everyone goes with there Character Tadrick Hall is a genius at this kind of stuff

The idea wasn't to do Wizard of Oz songs. Although they started with one, the point was to tell the story of the Wizard of Oz with modern songs. Which I think they nailed.
It shocks me how many people don’t get the concept of this video.

Most likely. If you have to ask, it’s unbelievable, but yes. It’s him.
Is that Kirstie?
Yes. She and Mitch are chameleons, sinking everything they have into the next video. They are still them, though.
What even was that?!
Either Avi, Mitch, Scott, or Kevin. If it’s eerie whistling (while the bass is still there) or just overtones, that’s Avi. If it was too high to comprehend, it’s Mitch (or Kevin, he’s a tenor in addition to his celloboxing skill). If Avi is singing lead, and you wonder why the bass line is still going, that’s Scott. If you just heard an amazing dj scratch remix sound, that was Kevin.
Will I recover from my PTXD?
No, but you will love living with it. From KOs, to Mitch slaps, from Avi gut kicks, to Kirstie’s whiplash, all of these amazing abusive tendencies will give you wonderful trauma, and always leave you excited for more.
Happy rabbit hole diving, especially when you catch Mitch’s Elphie and Scott’s Glinda in “Superfruit’s Defying Gravity.”
Toddrick did a whole visual album with Oz themes called Straight Outa Oz. There are some cool tracks on it, he parallels his move to LA to Oz. One song Black and White features Kirstin and Superfruit.

I believe...'Wicked' was a prequel to Oz talking about the wicked witch of the west and glinda's histories. Also you mentioned the Home song they do in here - they also do a bit from it on their 'Home' medley that they did while they were under Quarantine!
Todrick Hall did a "parody" video of Pentatonix songs, which he called Penta-TODRIK. In which he played all 5 roles. From Kevin's facial expressions while beatboxing, to Avi's low notes, even Kirstie's side smile. His Daft Punk interpretation was interesting. Worth watching, but maybe not reaction level. There is a reaction video by Mitch and Scott of PTX watching this.
If you like Kirstie taking Lead you need to watch the live performance of Seasons Of Love. She will shock you. Your used to being Mitch Slapped but Kirstie will kick you in the gut with her insane vocals.
So inventive and beautifully executed.

You are thinking of “Wicked” the Broadway play…SuperFruit does defying gravity in one of their vids (WELL worth the time)
This was based on the 1938 movie The Wizard of OZ….
I'll bet you missed this one.... Pentonix performed "What Is This Feeling" from the musical Wicked live on the stage. They actually had accompaniment for this one and, of course, they killed it. Audio only is still available: ruclips.net/video/E1weFZBZ0io/видео.html

Not to be rude but i felt like ya'll totally missed the Genius of why Todrick chose these song covers and why he gave Certain songs for each Pentatonix member to sing and how they were in order plus i felt like y'all didn't really listen to the to the lyrics I am telling you If you ever watched/paid attention to wizard of oz and or even heard any of these songs that picked for this video you'll know that a Geniusput this together
