As an ex e-sport CSGO player I can do nothing but agree with anything you say . I just would have loved to see you explain more in depth how movement connects to horizontal, vertical and therefore diagonal aiming. You already said everything necessary, but for me personally understanding aiming as much as possible makes it easier to improve my movement and later on be able to adjust my movement on my enemy's aim. But except of my personaly preference you are really doing a stunning job and you actually are worth your patreons!
@@germantrujillo7495 Yep, I have a leaver probably 10% of the 2cp games I play. If one team gets rolled then someone will probably leave if they didn't at the beginning of the match.
Xotaic I know right!!! Made total fun of Jardio and I LOVED it :-) I just loved how he weaved it so seamlessly into the video. With a straight voice too. Belly laughed hard :-)
Hey ioStux, I just wanted to thank you for making this series. I'm a GM player on a college team and most of my teammates are gold/silver and I'm not a very good coach. These videos are helping them improve a LOT. Thank you
So i have watched the video a few times now and what u did at around the 29:00 mark with jardio is really great. because as someone who has a very bad attention span and hard time focusing it really helps your brain to just take less than a minute to un focus for just a second and laugh a bit and then get back to trying to focus again. it's like taking a short break to regain your focus and process the information you have gathered for the last 30 min, but you implemented it in to the video (if it was intentional or not idk) but it was good and really helped.
Thank you! I was wondering how much of my aim was pure luck, this showed me that it was 90% luck and 10% prediction. Now I'll read the game better, I know this video is not about aiming but it just made it click for me. Again, thank you! The hard part now is implementing these tips.
No joke: I jumped into a ffa match as hanzo right after watching this video and i dominated and people started reporting me for hacking (in reality i was missing some shots but i was dodging and hitting more thanks to movement and predictions)
The first and only time I see a full 1:46 hour video on RUclips was yours and definitely worth it. Really appreciate your efforts that was a great and very informative and helpful thank you very much 🙏🙏😊😊
These have actually been the best gaming guides I have ever watched on this platform, ad I really appreciate the time you put into these. Any plans to continue this series?
27:00 ohhhhhh A million years ago I saw this from Haksal's perspective and I was wondering how a random Tracer was reading him so hard when it was none other than effect XD
That was quite the journey on Movement. You touched upon most of my bad movement habits. I feel like I've been reviewed for free. Thanks! Great to watch :)
Hey ioStux, will you ever continue this series? This was some good stuff, and I know you had good plans. If not, is there a spiritual successor to this series?
i was recommended by the aim lab discord server to watch this video to help me do better in apex legends 1v1 situations, i'm only an hour in, but the amount of knowledge i'm getting out of this is incredible! i can't wait to apply this in my games!
A note about WS strafing from an Ana player : it does not make you harder to hit by your opponent, but it makes you harder to hit by your support aiming a you from your right or left side.
being movement conscious SKYROCKETED my aim. I always strafe too much even when im safe, missing shots that costs the fight. Thanks for this lecture, Professor IoStux!
That outro was entirely too predictable, ioStux! You only moved in one direction the whole time. Have you learned nothing from this movement tutorial??? Good video.
This is the first video I've watched from the series. Really great job. I loved the graphs and comparisons to other situations in life to illustrate the concepts. Top notch!
I recommend against this, depending on how erratic the tempos you use. As a musician I've found much success in overwatch on a technical level by adopting a musical/rhythmic frame of mind and many of the same practice methods I use for music. I think practicing at 140bpm and the surrounding tempos (+/- 5-10 bpm) will make you more consistent and able to control how inconsistent your opponent perceives you to be. In music this is called rubato, or the idea that you can stretch and compress time within a phrase, giving the music a personality more unique to you and the moment.
@@KryptonianBaby That's why I picked the Mario theme the rythm is 1& 2&a 3 4 1& 2 3&a4 ... Obviously it depends on the song you pick if the technique will work but you usually don't get very far in the song maybe 10 measures at most before someone dies. The beat pattern is fairly irregular so while certain songs are terrible to do this with. There are songs where I think it's completely viable.
*wanna thank you a lot* As a plat player, i destroyed a smurf account with the positioning guide as on 1st video. That smurf account was trash talking in match chat saying his team is bad lol 😂 Also wins duel as ashe with 1 vs 1 widow with the help of 1st position guide vdo.

There is a technique that's kind of a mix between wasd aiming and movement mirroring that makes tracking targets at close to medium range very consistant. Makes you easier to hit but very good situationally on characters like zarya where you will probably get hit anyway and often have bubbles or support heals to help you
@@ioStux haha! That's pretty great. I thought it was a hidden message like "you guys should do that by the way." Either way, great video ioStux, love the series!
Hey coach, what are your thoughts on the infinity shield meta we're currently in? Do you have any plans breaking down the proper way to play, or even potentially countering it without mirroring? Would love to see you and Jayne collaborate on a topic like that
I’ve never struggled against moira. Personally I’m dead about ten seconds before the possibility of duking a moira begins because I already ran into open space facing the wrong direction
I'm a Mercy main and movement is my best defense. I plan to record my games because I don't think I do WS strafing, but I definitely want to make sure and see where I could improve. Her movement kit is why I like her, and I'm curious to see if you cover some of it. Mentioning it is good enough xD. I've seen that there is a lot of stuff covering the specifics.
I generally have heavy problems to predict enemy movement. Because people move largely unpredictably. I have no idea if someone goes left or right or if he leaves cover in one direction or the other. I'm just blindly guessing where someone will go and more often than not, I'm guessing wrong.
For the part where u talk about widow jumping around a coner, people can react to the jump and headshot you... i do that and hardly miss when people do that. Just a heads up
