I owned a Panamera GTS 4.8L V8 (normally aspirated) with the *sport exhaust* and the chip upgrade. It was arguably the *most awesome* car I've ever owned. To compare, since 2014 I've also had a 911 Carrera S, two 911 Turbo S (991, and 991.2), and a Cayenne Turbo Coupe 4.0L V8 (2020), and a Mercedes AMG C43. With the sound that Panamera GTS made, I literally chased away 3 grown black bears that were lurking around a house in my neighborhood. Spacious, comfortable, and insanely sporty. I loved it. And I did track it once, just for ha-ha's. At the Porsche Driving School one can also get a chance to try them on a track.

Whoa, ..driving a Panamera in ..Monza should be a dream ! Nick, seems that you moved all along the straight line, as some footage are taken just out of the Parabolica, and some other ..in the entry of Curva Grande, next to the Variante ! Taking Curva Grande with this car should be fabulous. I love this track, Such a car ! Such a track !
I never thought I would like the Panamera, but the sound of these Panameras is just so good I can't help but like them. By the way, do you know if they are turbocharged or not? If they aren't turbocharged they are the smokiest NA race cars I've ever seen.

Thank you for your answer, but only the Turbo and the GTS are V8. The Panamera S has 6 ! and its not a "V" because that describes the formation of the cylinders. In germany we call it a 6 cylinder Boxer engine. But the Panamera S unsually does not have a V8

Don't like the looks of the Panamera, never have probably never will but I hope it goes like a bat out of h*ll! Great sounding engine! It is now a fact that the best sounding V8's are European. Good luck racing!

@@SolidMarty - I understand. Still good video today, and my Panamera GTS was from 2014. Call it nostalgia. My best car ever (in many ways) and I've had Mercedes, Audi, Jaguar, Volvo, SAAB, other Porsche models, VW, Honda, etc.
As a G1 P4 owner, the sound and acceleration in this video is dreamy. You can say that I'm a dreamer ....
Track day for the whole family
Wish they all sounded like that!
They do, just remove the exhaust.

A 4 door race car for the whole family ! Haha. Didn't expect to see a race car of the Panamera. And it sounds great !
I just have to say that it's an absolute joy having these awesome videos every week, excellent work!
Finally, the panamera became an awesome car!
Love those sounds!
Reminds me of the 928 GT racer a friend used as a track day car.
Oh wow, a Panamera as a race car! Who would have thought of that! Awesome! Great filming as well Nick!

Wow, a Panamera race car! That's really insane :D
You gotta give Porsche props for showing us the sexy side of a car that many think is an "ugly duckling".

It's very interesting to see a tracked out Panamera like these, but that sound... WOW Great footage as always Nick! Keep up the good work! +1
You mean the new model which is not even selling by now... In this one the S has a V6, but this is the old one with 4.8l V8
1:26 unequal heartbeat

Brutal sound :D
great video!
GIO!!! GIO!!!! GIO!!!
It would be super fun to strip out and cage an old panamera, with 4 race seats and harnesses. Suspension upgrade and maybe prepped for slicks.
Nick,do you have any videos of you actually driving?
is it just me, or does it just sound like the BMW Z4 GT3 engine :D
great sound anyway *thumbs*
do you live at monza?! lucky man!
You have an AWSOME life
Good vids!
Hideous car
Hideously good performance
god damn
Dude !!! u live in track ? :)
Why is there a V8 in that Panamera S ? Completely new Engine ? Because normally only the GTS is V8
Thats one way to get your kids to school fast.
nice!!!
Great sound, however big shame the driver Johan Kristoffersso left Audi Sport Italia and the RS 5 quattro for this one after a great 2012 :/
how much bhp dose it have?
It even says v6 on the engine cover
OMG
Questa era la panamera s di n.technology racing
how much horsepower?
they should put that in the v8 supercars
go team sweden =D
Honestly, I think it looks silly with all of those colors, but it does sound mean as hell.
someone should make a racing car out of a bentley mulsanne
why its so smoky?
Let me go racing and take my whole family with me
Still street legal?
definite no
Definitely *yes*
Imagine it in matte black...
it would be louder if the exhaust was shorter and came out the side and had no muffler

euro v8's definitely sounds more sexy than the american ones.
meanwhile, it's the best car if you want to take your children to one of your races!
it sounds like a german nascar

largest race car ever
It''s a fast mini van!
Sounds so much manlier than a 911, even if it isn't quite as fast.

Looks really clumsy on track in my honest opinion but it sounds freaking amazing!
Beauty if in the eyes of the beholder. I think it still looks fugly. But if I close my eyes... eargasm.
Probably too much fuel
there's a lot of smoke coming out of those things lol
Obviously its way too big for the track...but its really something special
Verschrieben nicht car:-)
