Xavier just ruled this performance from start to finish. Obviously the Queen medley was their best-of-the-best, but I consider this to be their most successful experiment.
The main reason I love this comp, besides freaking kickass acapella, is how the other bands react to their competitors. So supportive. Avi and Kevin are the most enthusiastic I've noticed. God Clark "cause after the show" indeed
this is SO entertaining that they didn't even cut to judges reactions during the performance. that has to be a first and is a testament to how much fun these guys are to watch!
It's because we are watching this after the fact - there's no competition for us anymore, but when the judges were judging, they were deciding who got this recording contract, so they had to LISTEN to the groups more than just watch them. The watching was for television, to entertain us at home, but the judges had to actually judge what they were hearing more than what they were seeing. And if you listen to it without watching it, like you would if it were on a CD (or I guess now on itunes or something) it was messy and not a concise and clear of an arrangement as they had in the past. They are great at entertaining visually, but they gotta have both. So with it being the top 5, they are more critical of small mistakes because they are literally trying to find the ones who will sound the best on the record, not just entertain visually.
Ohhhhh yessss ... Idk why ppl say they're only a performance group; I love their vocals and arrangements. And dammmnnnn Will and Henry, Xavier, michael, Nate, Clark...everyone...

I agree that this is a performing group not a 'recording' group. I love to watch them but I challenge you to close your eyes and listen again. Its not nearly the same. Its a shame really.
@Deathclaw12 a bit late but its not pre recorded the episodes are pre recorded but when the episodes before the finale are recorded its live performances its the arrangement when fun is the way it is at the end since its not the whole song its creative arranging
