"Warriors" is my favorite episode out of the whole eight episodes. Mainly because of Kyoshi. She's so badass and they captured her so well, and how terrifying and powerful she is
@@larocomel I hope if they continue with the seasons, that she'll get more Katara-like. Her waterbending is very novice, as expected, but she needs that rage. Her fight with Pakku was disappointing.
I love Kyoshi in this version, how much she towers over everyone, and the fight was so badass and honestly kind of terrifying. Also, I love the chemistry between Sokka and Suki.
Disagree. Kyoshi was a little subtler than this, she wouldn't just start screaming at Aang's face. But this adaptation lacks subtlety. And I think those two have no chemistry here xD, I was cringing every time they were together. Way to ruin Suki's character, from best girl to creepy stalker.
@@kaijingarou6526 I actually prefer the way Suki and Sokka were portrayed here. They lead parallel lives as warriors but were also sheltered and inexperienced. It worked for me!
@@thenewapelles6448 Fair, it's personal but I did not like the writing here. I know what they were trying to do but didn't come across like that for me. They used some stuff Suki does say in the comics but I didn't like how they implemented it or the personality they gave her. ATLA comics aren't precisely the best source to draw inspiration from anyway most of the times...
somehow many forget that past avatars can take over the avatar and fight in their original form. In the show Roku was the one coming back to destroy a firetemple
The first season of the live-action will give more insight to characters, things that the animated show ended up not showing. The fact they showed the genocide and the true extention of Aang's inner conflict about being the Avatar at the beginning is proof of that. But the live-action will also tease many things that you only get to see in book 2 and 3... and even things that happen in the comics.
They rushed through season 1 and even introduced some stuff from season 2 so definitely watch book 2 first before finishing - even though original show's season 1 had less hours 7.5 or so compared to 8 hours of the live action so they really had no reason to rush, plus they could have done 20 minute episodes instead of 8 1 hr eps.
I get sokka storyline is good, but for me its not the only reason the episode was great, in fact, its not at all what makes it great. Netflix did a good job. They could've kept sokka storyline but it worked like it is.
Actually neel. Him "flying" without the glider is a big issue because he shouldn't be able to do that. But as he is levitating using the air. That's a different thing.
@@kaijingarou6526 it's not about you being ok with it And by she if you mean kyoshi then she uses dust bending not air bending. Airbenders lost their flight ability long ago.
@@jashan8282 I was talking about Kyoshi but of course not about the freaking dust move. I was talking about when she went into the Avatar state, where she could fly. And in the LA she wasn't even using air to fly, she was using firebending... But I agree about Aang. That makes no sense.
@@kaijingarou6526he is not flying he was gliding by manipulating air currents ….not that difficult when people fly using earth or fire….he is a master air bender and avatar….i he could fly he wouldn’t need his glider

yeah go ahead and watch the whole series, then go back to the animation so you will realized how they shoved components from the future books to this season. I started getting migraines watching episode 3 onwards. 🤦♀️
Please guys, go back to the anime and finish book 2 before you continue this live action series. You will miss the essence and emotion of specific details in this series if you dont know book 2 of the anime series.

Precure is a magical girl anime franchise that's been airing for 20 years , it recently finished airing its 20th anniversary season and now the 21st each season is separated with its own unique genre and characters and the endings are a song and dance which are really fun to watch
