One of the added aspects of this version I'm really enjoying is watching some of the cog-spinning behind Ozai and company. They've opened up some amazing Zuko scenes and given Ozai a bit more meat behind his motivations without (imo) removing any of his intimidation
Absolutely this! His gaslighting of Azula explains sooo much, too. Every scene they have added or changed has typically been based on newer material released since ATLA first aired and it does not but enrich and deepen the story, imo.

Just gonna say this in one word, "BAD ASS!" Okay, two words. She absolutely personified Avatar Kyoshi, and perfectly! She's literally BAD ASS. Episode 2 seriously did it for me. Not too many people even noticed that, through Avatar Kyoshi, we literally got an EPIC taste of all the elemental bending powers that Aang will possess, the day he becomes the true Avatar he was destined to come. No other Avatar that Aang meets, from Books 1-4, has ever demonstrated such power.

The Kyoshi warriors looked amazing, as did Avatar Kyoshi (who was a boss)! Sokka made me laugh a few times this ep, can see him and Momo recreating some great stfuf from the animated show! The casting all around is great!

Yes! Aang is now smiling in the new live action Avatar The Last Airbender series however unlike 2010 Aang, he never smile or joke in this movie which came out in 2010. I hope you Avatar The Last Airbender netflix series is good. 👍💯😄❤❤
