I know a lot of people are saying if a steak is high quality enough it doesn't need something like A-1, but you guys should all try it at least once. That being said, it is really great for a leftover bit of high quality steak

Everyone eats differently. As a kid I like ketchup but my tastes have changed a lot and now I like salt before cooking, pepper after cooking and prepared powder wasabi for shmearing. Don't knock it till you've tried it
I used to always use it. But then as I got older I learned how to cook steak properly, haven't used it since. Just a little salt
A good steak would be ruined by A1 trash sauce. You will never know.
They used corn syrup because of subsidies, they should make a version with real sugar.

I rarely eat steak, so if I do, it's gotta be a high quality piece of dry aged ribeye that I wouldn't dream of putting A1 on. However I do like A1 with mashed potatoes and/or fries.

I love A1 on chopped steak with onions and bell peppers. It's distinct flavor is perfect for it. Also good on leftover steak that didn't need it the first round.
I just had it on a Philly cheesesteak unexpectedly and it really made the sandwich.
I had forgotten about A1 entirely and had to look up the ingredients in the sandwich to find out what was responsible for the flavor.

I've always loved Brands A1, Cross and Blackwell is also excellent. These days I prefer BBQ sauce and even baste my steaks with it.

I went to Kansas City this summer and ate at Joe's Kansas City. They have a BBQ supply brand called Cowtown that you can buy on Amazon. Their "Night of the Living" sauce is sooooooo good and it has no chemicals in it like these Walmart sauces.
I make my own and it is 1000% better than the others.

No steak sauce can come close to A-1. I've tried them all, and none compares. It's like Coke, a special recipe that only they can get right. A-1 is a staple in my household.

I just love the tangy flavor, it’s not an inditement of the meat
I have always enjoyed A.1. Steak Sauce. However - any really high-quality steak or cut of beef doesn't need a tangy sauce to enhance its flavor. Most of the time I just want to taste the flavor of a properly cooked medium-rare steak.
Another steak sauce I like is Burman's Steak Sauce. It is really good and is distinctly different from A.1. Steak Sauce. I like Burman's on a Sirlion Burger.
Even a 10k steak can use a little sauce on the side not every bite but I enjoy eating some of my steak straight up and some with a little sauce,I could careless what fools on the internet think.
I once got yelled at when I asked for A1 when I ordered a nice steak.. the look of his face when I told him it was for the frys was pretty damn funny

If I cook a really good steak, I only want salt, pepper, and butter. But anything that isn’t super premium is perfect for A1!

Every birthday I have I always eat the same thing a big slice of steak that's been setting in a1 over night and I grill it up cover it in pepper Alot of pepper then I put some grilled diced jalapeños on it with some of those large wide steak fries on the side and a small puddle of a1 to dip the fries or a bite of steak it's one of the best things I've ever eaten

Mix ketchup and worchestershire, and you have a perfect steak sauce.

I used to have a friend who wouldn’t drink cola because he saw caramel color on the ingredients and he didn’t like the taste he said, no matter what we tried to get through to him that it was just a colorings name and not caramel he refused to understand.

My grandma loved the stuff, but never actually with her steaks. As a kid, any time I wanted a quick bite to eat when I was at her place, I'd make a bologna sandwich with a light spread of A1, and potato chips in the sandwich. So good.

If the meat is prepared correctly you don’t need any steak sauce. If you see me use it the steak is either over cooked or under spiced (no flavor). I love A1 but it is not needed if your steak have flavor and juicy.
I make different meat sauces all the time but I'm not trying to duplicate ones like A1 or Worcestershire or Heinz 57. When I want those tastes, why not just use them instead of trying to create their flavors. That's the fun of making sauces.
Because they use chemicals and GMO corn syrup.
A1 is great for putting on otherwise inedible meat. I've been able to stomach many pieces of shoe leather thanks to A1.

A1 is perfect for elevating a steak that is poorly cooked. A steak that is properly cooked needs little more than salt and pepper, but one that’s over cooked could be palatable with A1

Everything is watered down these days, and smaller packaging, loaded with chemicals and much higher prices.
A properly cooked steak needs no sauce. I will admit to using a cap full in some marinades from time to time. I use it on baked potatoes and cooking vegetables more than meats. I am glad to see them pair up with TABASCO Brand as have many others.
