People... if you can do business with Josh, do it. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and does excellent work. He is honest and reasonably priced....traits that are becoming harder to find these days.

Thanks. That is something I have wondered about every time I start my CT70 after it has been sitting.

Not completely fair, under pressure the oil moves much quicker than having an open system test.

Question: Why is turning it over via drill motor any better than starting the engine? Wouldn’t it be the same number of rotations to achieve flow? Thanks!

Starting an engine would certainly be a more rapid and violent on all the moving parts under combustion forces. At least this is a slower rotation and what little oil film exists will have a better chance protecting the metal on metal in my guess. The big end of the crank relies on the pressure and at least it is not taking the extreme forces at the bearing as it would under combustion. But i dont have any exact info. You may be right

Why did Honda spec one head nut as a plain nut instead of acorn?

I wonder this too, I understand the copper washer, but why an open nut on the lower left? While some aftermarket hardware kits use all acorn nuts. Ive used both on multiple bikes no issues btw
