Some tips on how to approach gasket removal from engine components with only using (2) tools.
Some gaskets are really stuck on there. When doing this, try to look for the original machining marks and stop there. It is a gentle process -- You dont want to scar the aluminum gasket surface or leaking may result once engine is reassembled.

Thanks for all the advice! I actually swamped my Mini 50 in a lake sized puddle after Fiona hit up here in Atlantic Canada. (No spark now)
Hoping I don’t need to get this deep into a full engine rebuild (it’s all original single owner)
