Beautiful boots! Amazing job as always! Such a pity that the 8119's were discontinued! From a practicality I can understand wanting to go with the Christy, and a leather midsole on it. I do however wish it had been black or even burgundy edge dressed but I can only assume the customer wanted natural for the contrast. The 430 mini lug is not exactly the most comfortable of soles in the world, although it is a bit more durable than the Christy. To me my knees hurting at the end of the day win out as I get older. At the end of the day Red Wing has discontinued more styles I am interested in than anything. Also I wholeheartedly agree with you after seeing you pick up the 877. True to size, it leaves just enough for a thumbs width at the end of the boots. I am not sure why people don't size correctly in them. Maybe they have different flex points? I'm true to size 11.5D in both feet, and 11.5D flex point, my left foot is less volumous at a C/D, the right is a bit more so at a D/E width but most people never know their 3D shape of their foot either. I bought the 11D originally and found even my toenails bruised and at the very limits of the boots. So how people half size down is beyond me! It makes me wonder how I would ever size in the Pecos or the old Engineers assuming I was lucky enough to score a pair?
I have the 2233 and 2406 both 12 EE and the 2406 is a little more roomier. Now the pair of 8188 in 12 E feels tight when sliding my foot in but a little loose after my foot gets all the way in. Not sure if this helps any.
Maybe this is why Red Wing finally made Iron Rangers with wedge soles. Also, think I prefer the look of a 270° welt to the 360° welt on these wedge soles. Is there an advantage either way? Durability?
Thank you so much, Aaron, your workmanship is excellent. I can't wait to wear these around town. The t-shirt looks like it fit you well. Thanks for wearing it in the video. For those of you thinking about getting Iron Rangers, here is my video (with my 8119's) to explain proper sizing. ruclips.net/video/S0w8u-DjEjk/видео.html
I know its personal taste, but I really like the Iron Ranger with the black wedge. Good call, nice work boot for the shop/factory now.
Looks sharp and ready for serious city miles.
What colour wedge would work with black Rangers?
@@matttherrien9608 Black wedge on black rangers would be a great looking boot, especially paired with a lighter midsole.
@@jaystrongbow9435 thank you for your opinion.
The vibram wedge looks great, gives the iron ranger a modernized look. Great Work
Those came out very nice. I didn’t expect to like the Iron Ranger with a wedge sole but it’s sharp.
My thoughts exactly
Nice job
Looks great love the contrast in the soles.

Great job as usual. I really like the way you finish the welts and soles. They look great on this one.
Me gusto la combinación y el hilo rojo 👍 Un diseño diferente que las hace únicas. Buen trabajo 👏

Yes. Don't know why they discontinued the 8119. But love the improvement with the Christy Black Sole.
Did I just witness Aaron Garcia reuse a factory welt?! 😁
😯😯😅😅
Love the New Sole.
Qué bonito color de esas iron ranger y que buen trabajo Aarón. Hoy no habrá quejas de que le cambiaste el welt 😂. Saludos y las mejores vibras. ⚡
😂😂estaba en perfecto estado!! Saludos!!
Hello Malaysia 🇲🇾 Sir, May I know how much it cost replace new sole for that boots? Good video sir.. I really like your work & your video also..

You give red wings so much free advertising. They should sponsor you
