@@HH-wm7yi they cancel both low and high frequencies, so everything is just quiet. Opposite if you straight pipe and remove res and mufflers. Loud all around
@@HH-wm7yi personally I can’t stand drone (low end). So I would never want to delete my mufflers. I think a res swap can change the upper tone nicely, but keep it drone free. Personally I put an Amazon cutout valve after my resonator. So that way I can have it open and loud to bypass mufflers, but can also close it if I need quiet! Should be my most recent video on my channel
Resonater delete sounds absolutely stock like no diference at all when hitting 80 decibels, but the muffler delete did at bit better job not much but enough so you can hear it though
@@ThatSlowSaturn I completely agree with this 100%!!!!! I'm talking about "tone," the actual "sound," NOT just "loud noise!" A healthy V8 rumble, V10, even some V6 like GTR, etc. And they both still sound stock and like sh1t! LOL!
As a general rule of thumb, muffler deletes will make your car sound louder and maybe add a tad bit of drone. Resonator deletes will almost always keep the same level of sound and will add a good bit of drone while driving.
Should try this test on a NA car
If you delete your resonators your car will have horrible drone. Leave the resonator and delete the muffler. Trust me lol
Res- Higher end frequency (think rasp).
Muffler: lower end, and overall volume. (think drone)
What about both together?

@@pegleggreg3627 what do u reckon is the best to do, I think straight pipe is too much and sometimes u don’t want the attention

Do your research BEFORE you gou go see the EXHAUST ATTICKS..... great job as always guys!!!
Not to much on these cars imo makes that great of a difference
Saw “Let There be Rock” tour , Dayton Ohio 🤘

Nice work on both! 🤘🏻😎🔨 Muffler delete sounds louder.

Gotta do V8s when making this comparison..
Why lol
Yes muffler deletes sound cheap af. Resonator deletes just sound worse.
HUGE waste of money - couldn't even hear them! Both sounded like vacuum cleaners.
Not everyone wants a car that wakes everyone up at 5AM.

You deleted what you supposed to keep and left what your supposed to delete on the new A5.leave the Resonator and delete all the Mufflers 🤜🏻
This 2 Audi need more louder it not loud enough
Both sounded terrible.
I’m surprised one of those Audi has 142k miles without any check engine lights on 😅
Both are way too quiet. Straight pipe it
Fr.
Nah most straight piped 4 cylinders sound like shit, muffler delete was perfect. Just enough growl.
