In fact, my car sounds expensive until you look at it, then youll just think i have something crazy under my hood. Very unique exhaust tone it gives off.

What is a drone? 🤔I have been hearing this
When you drive at 100, or 120, and you head a loud mmmmmmmmmmmm from the exhaust, this is drone, like a droning noise
Great video and explanation! This is coming from a woman! You explained this better to me than the guy at the muffler shop...
Really appreciate the kind words, glad I could help!
Where can I find the right coding after a muffler delete?
Ayo man that fence called my attention, I used to study in Canada Scarborough in an area called Misty Hills LMAO. Think we were neighbors haha
What is drone??
It’s constantly hearing your exhaust rumble even at low rpm; drone
I bought my car and it already had a resonator delete. Should I buy and install a new one?
No, it will not make a huge difference
Nice explanation thanks
Dope video!
Glad you liked it!
Excellent to the point, clear explanation thank you.
Super information
I was about to have mine deleted but I was unaware that it could cause drone while driving on the highway
THANKS FOR THE SAVE,,!!!
A res delete won't give you drone at motorway speeds
A muffler delete will give you drone. resonator actually makes your car sound aggressive with gurgles an pops. However, it also depends on the car. What you could do is, delete the res, then test drive it for a day an decide from there. You may b better off just deleting the res and not the muffler. or install a new type of muffler to keep the drone noise out but still sound aggressive with the res delete.
I cut my muffler off few weeks ago and all i get is turned heads because it sounds amazing when the drone doesnt kick in. In fact, my car sounds expensive until you look at it, then youll just think i have something crazy under my hood. Very unique exhaust tone it gives off.
I had a hole in my resonator. Replaced with straight pipe. Highway drone is super annoying. Also caused havoc with all my electronic sensors. Car would jump out of overdrive to 3rd gear on highway at 65 mph and 2500 rpm. To 3rd gear and 4300 rpm. Perhaps a minute later will go back to overdrive.
In your opinion, is a muffler delete better than a resonator delete ?
Depends what vehicle you're doing it on, in my experience most 4 cylinder turbo cars, muffler delete is the way to go!
@@BurningRubber416 what about a 6.1L SRT8?
@@BurningRubber416 I already have headers with no cats and aftermarket mufflers.
i disagree. i removed the resonator from my 03 fx 35 and put in a straight pipe. There is no drone at any rpm. keeping the stock muffler, it sounds as good as most aftermarket cat back systems.
4cyl. v-6 and v-8's will all sound different without a resonator.
same, deleted mine on mk7 gti. No drone on highway. sound obviously louder than usual but not super loud. Love it
The resonator delete on my r line Passat made my car much louder, it does make cars louder you are wrong on that part. I couldn’t hear a thing from my exhaust before.
So add resonator on my Corolla got it ! ✍🏽
Good choice!
Just subscribed! Saved me some time
Glad I could help!
Great video sir
Just cut my exhaust from the resonator to make a side pipe, now I only have one cat and the rest is straight pipe, on my 95hp Mercedes:D
Great video!
Appreciate it man!
Why doesnt he have 12 million subs????
Might not technically be louder but it seems like it is.
Nice bro....good knowledge
Great video, crackin' up at "Some Karen's decided " 😆
Glad you enjoyed it😂
