This video will show you Longry's personal Chicago Marathon experience and will give you an idea of what exactly to expect. If you are thinking of running the Bank of America Chicago Marathon, this video should be really helpful in your decision to say "Yes...I'm running the Chicago Marathon this year!"
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is one of the largest and most exciting marathons in the world. The Chicago Marathon has approximately 40,000 marathon runners (all running levels) from all 50 states and 100 countries. There are 1.7 million awesome spectators located along the Bank of America Chicago marathon course. The course is fast and flat and has produced four world records, several national records, and countless personal bests. The marathon course runs through 29 unique Chicago neighborhoods, extending as far north as Sheridan Road, as far west as Damen Avenue and as far south as 35th Street. The race starts and finishes in beautiful Grant Park.
This year of 2022 will be the 44th running of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. The median finishing time for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon is 4:38 (all runners). The Bank of America Chicago Marathon has a course time limit of 6 hours and 30 minutes. You must maintain a 15-minute per mile pace or faster to complete the Chicago Marathon within the time limit. There are 20 aid stations located along the Chicago Marathon course approximately one or two miles apart. The cost of the Chicago Marathon is $220.00 for U.S. residents and $230.00 for non-U.S. residents.
