That looks great except one minor thing. I can see changing white balance frequently during a mastershot. Is it available set white balance and shutter speed set manual and ISO auto? If these manual setting works with mastershot, it would be the almost perfect.
How nice, but the changing white balance is changing. Can we lock white balance during quickshots & Mastershots? Also, to eliminate props from the video change the "Shooting Mode" to "Composition" in the Mastershots Camera Setting.
Once you finish active track and you stop in a different location from where you took off, will return home button take the drone to the original take off location or where you are standing
Thanks for your video. How did you calculate the height of the tree at minute 3 and I didn't like that the propellers were visible, they destroy the beautiful video! Can the gimbal tilt be configured to avoid this problem? Thxs
Thanks for the tutorial! The demo shots are amazing, I remember doing all those manual maneuvers on my mini, and here on the air2s you just press a button and it's done.
How the drone and the remote hear you while talking? Is there a mic on remote or settings for remote and drone so that while talking and video recording can hear voice?
The only moment that got me wondering? Was seeing the props top right of the screen . Am assuming it was windy there? Other wise quick shot is truly amazing. Definitely gonna consider this drone
I see the drone propellers crossing in the video, were you able to solve that problem? The same thing happens to me, please tell me if you could solve that?
Unfortunately I think thats the fault with the auto-system that DJI admit was a fault on their part. There's no easy way to fix this from what I have researched.
@@Fuentesdefinanzas If you're going to make such a statement, then any normal person would post a link, or actually SAY how to do that! It's plain dumb to say that and not say how.
From my research, it seems so - a software bug by DJI as they didn't position the camera angles correctly when shooting in those modes, to avoid the propellers.
is there a way to have this, but not with the object in the plain middle every shot? Also, any idea why the white balance changes so much during the mastershot with you as subject?
Love the fact that you started off by reminding about rules and regs. Well done. Why do you think the rotor (off-side front) was visible in one of the first shots. Was the drone doing fast changes of direction (or something like that). Where is this monument?
Thank you! DJI have admitted its a problem with their software that angles the camera in a way where the rotors get into the shot, and I'm not aware of any update made to yet fix this unfortunately. If you do manual quick shots, and not the auto MasterShots, then you can avoid that. This Monument is in Reading, Berkshire, UK.
I don't think there is any limits, but enough to have a clear view of the subject that you are trying to track, so could be within 40m of a person, or even 100m in the air to track a large truck from the air.
Good video, but why no mention of the choppy/jerky footage? Also, the white balance change during the flight is very bad, and IMO unusable. You should set WB to a fixed figure to avoid this issue.
Those shots weren't that Mastered at all since there were Propellers showing all over the place ruining the entire shot!🤦🏾♂️ I've never had that issue with by beloved Mavic 2pro when using Quick Shots or any other automatic flight modes! 🤦🏾♂️ I hope that that issue was already fixed or I'll have to send back the Brand New DJI Air 2s that's supposed to arrive next Wednesday January 19th, 2022 and just keep my Mavic 2pro instead of selling it!... Thanks for this video though! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 You just helped me correct my mistake! I'm sending that New drone back! 👍🏾 Greetings from Douglas, Arizona 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🌵🦠😷🇵🇷
Hi Douglas! Yes, that was a real shame about the Propellers showing in the MasterShots. DJI did make a statement that its a programming fault in their software, the way the camera pans/tilts when doing those automatic shots, and they didn't have a fix for that yet - which was a real shame because I was hoping to use MasterShots more than manual shooting, which is why one of the reasons I sold it :( Glad my video helped you also!
@@TrendingReviews Waoooooo, didn't know that DJI made such big statement! 😱Well another reason to send it back without even open the box! 👍🏾Thanks again!
Might’ve been a great video. Started out really enjoyable but I had to tune out at three minutes and nine seconds due that horrible, horrible, horrible music. Actually that’s not really music it’s like fingers on a blackboard. Do yourself a favor and get rid of that kind of music, it does absolutely nothing to enhance your video
That looks great except one minor thing. I can see changing white balance frequently during a mastershot. Is it available set white balance and shutter speed set manual and ISO auto? If these manual setting works with mastershot, it would be the almost perfect.
Best video so far on Active Track
Thank you so much!
Good video. Do the safety sensors work during master shots
Sefty option break ,or bypass ? What useing
Great Tutorial!
Thanks!
So well presented. Can’t wait try it out on painted water towers and silos here in Australia
Thank you and have fun with it!
Awesome function on the Air 2S drone!
Yep, agreed! Thank you!
Nice...thank you
thanks for the video
Try setting your white balance to manual for constant colours throughout your movie
I think you can exposure lock to prevent the variances..
How nice, but the changing white balance is changing. Can we lock white balance during quickshots & Mastershots? Also, to eliminate props from the video change the "Shooting Mode" to "Composition" in the Mastershots Camera Setting.
Hi ! Great video !
Hi😉How come you can see the propellers? Is it a defect that air2s has?
They're very fluid shots! Nice!
Thanks a lot!
Thanks for explaining that and especially about how to change the music 👍
great tutorial, thanks
Yπέροχο ενημερωτικό βίντεο. Σε ευχαριστώ που το μοιράστηκες
Great video....explained perfectly..
Thanks for the nice video
Definitely need to set white balance to manual also you can change settings so that rotors won't show
What are the settings can you help please

Merci beaucoup from FRANCE
really usefull 👍👍
Nice one Bro
Can you save the master shot themes to your pc instead of to the phone?

How the drone and the remote hear you while talking? Is there a mic on remote or settings for remote and drone so that while talking and video recording can hear voice?
I used the audio from my Sony Camera which was recording at the same time - I split them out in post-editing.
The only moment that got me wondering? Was seeing the props top right of the screen . Am assuming it was windy there? Other wise quick shot is truly amazing. Definitely gonna consider this drone
No it wasn't windy actually. DJI admitted that due to software errors, the propellors always show up in the automated quickshots.
@@TrendingReviews thanks, I’ll wait until it’s fixed.
I did this on vacation and it did not record. After selecting active track and parallel or trace do you have to hit video to record?
TWN - Duh!! No, it does it by reading your thoughts!!!
@@davybloggs1564 Figured that out. The dronie record automatically lol
Good tutorial for us new users. Thank you! That old tower is really neat. Where is that located?
Thank you! That tower is based in Reading, Berkshire.
How can you avoid the propellers being visible in the shots?
You can avoid this by turning off the ‘avoid obstacle’ feature. This has been a well documented issue with the air 2s.
use to fpv mode not visible propellers
Question, do you need obstacle avoidance switched on to use tracking and master shots ? Or is that optional ? What do you recommend ?
It's optional, but I always recommend it if you are using it in a built up area.
I see the drone propellers crossing in the video, were you able to solve that problem? The same thing happens to me, please tell me if you could solve that?
Unfortunately I think thats the fault with the auto-system that DJI admit was a fault on their part. There's no easy way to fix this from what I have researched.

@@MiguelHernandez-mc2yo Miguel , it is not a problem, you can set it up the propellers won't be seen.
To really solve this issue, make certain your gimbal is NOT set to “allow upward gimbal motion” under Camera Settings.

J4N - it's not in the middle of every shot! Visit Speksavers:-) Also, one can set the WB manually which will avoid this annoying trait.

I'm seeing props in the upper right hand corner. Does that only happen in MasterShots?
Yes, its a known bug in the DJI software for Mastershots.
@@TrendingReviews Good to know. Maybe on a future firmware update.
@@BadRadBR I hope you weren''t waiting for a fix - it's still the same now - 12/09/22
I saw propellers in the video was that no gimbal adjust or what?
Web - you have to not allow upward gimbal movement in camera settings.
So how close does the drone actually need to be in order to use ActiveTrack?
