    This is the third time I'm watching this video and this time I got 'light bulbs going in my head'. I'm super exited. Each time I watch this I learn something new and do slight changes in my meditation and it really works!... ☆

    One day, I hope to teach this method of meditation to alleviate the suffering here in my country.

    Thank you for sharing!! It is amazing how many changes can be made with a proper translation of the suttas.

    Thank you David and Bhante- Sadhu! It's peculiar to see David pulling back and asking questions as if it were the first time so that newcomers can understand. :) Good interview, and definitely some good insights for people who's never heard TWIM and the 6Rs before. Blessings to everyone at the center! Sadhu.

      Diego- I was playing my role as interviewer. I was wondering if someone would mention this after I just wrote the new book "The Path to Nibbana" - Whoops, I just did a shamless PR spot. Metta! :-)

    1:14:54 Would like to clarify;
    Bante said the Buddha sat in compassion, does that mean;
    1) The Buddha was meditating with compassion as the meditation object
    2) And by compassion Bante means: "allowing others the space to experience their pain and loving them anyway"
    3) So was the Buddha was radiating loving kindness + compassion during meditation?

      Compassion (not loving kindness) was his object of meditation. So #1,2 But this was the jhana of the Base of Infinite Space- this was what he was in.

    Hi Bhante!
    At 4:44, you mention a book about the 5 visions that happen right before death.
    What is the name of the book?
    Thank you!

    why was Bhante not happy with the personality changes of mahasi vipassana ? And how did that change with twin ?

      Because there WAS NO change. It didn't eliminate the craving forces that are present in all of us.

    Lol, seems like he had the Midas touch wherever he went. Strikes me as a bit of a bullshitter/embellisher if I'm being honest.

      I do get a good vibe from the interviewer though. Would be interesting to hear some of his experiences/insights.
