      That's certainly a weird one... Db locrian#2?

Is Gm#6 an answer? Like G locrian natural 2?

I think he is thinking A alt, because it resolves to D min

@tobiasneuner6196 yeah, I had the same thought. probably just A altered leaving out the Bb

I'd say 2 of the answers above together- it's a Bb melodic minor with a chromatic passing note, making it G locrian nat 2 and A superlocrian/ altered over the G & A respectively

All the tunes from that first Sade album are ripe for covers. This is a nice surprise; I've only ever really caught Takagi doing original material.

Probably better off without the visuals, now people can actually focus on the music. But Riyoko is a genius. This performance was a one-off improvisation, not an arrangement. She never plays anything the same way twice and always improvises. Often improvises spontaneously on random audience requests and input ideas, and with fun mash-ups! And if she doesn't know the requested song, she will figure it out by ear in just moments from the phone and fluently improvise on its theme. She mostly plays in a trio but her solo live shows are super fun because of that trademark audience interaction that's really rare these days. Aside trom all that, she's an amazing composer and has been composing original music since pre-teen years with over 100 originals if various kinds. Her career is finally ascending and she's starting to tour outside of Japan, so keep an eye out. But her highest-profile performance to date are her jazz arrangements of K-Pop hits broadcasted on TV in Japan and Korea as part of 2021 Japan-Korea Exchange Festival.

better for you, if you don't like the "visuals" you can just listen.

@@mauroariascontreras9284 Timothy uploaded a transcription of this with the visuals about 2 years ago. Needless to say, there was a lot of trolling in the comments and not so much listening. Anyway, you can always look Riyoko up. I uploaded several hundred videos of her, so there's no shortage of the visuals.
And if you want to know anything else about her or her music, I would be a good person to talk to. Riyoko is a good example of a rare talent that's been unfairly misjudged and misunderstood for years.

The visuals certainly helped me as I was intrigued regarding chord voicings.

The “visuals” are a pretty important aspect of transcription accounts I hear so maybe comment it somewhere different

Lovely. But why not one flat? B natural is clearly the accidental.
