To who I no longer speak for my own well-being. I have dissociative identity disorder, anxiety, depression and I am paranoid. People also often blame me for being depressed, anxious, paranoid and forgetting the smallest most basic things. They act like it's my fault that I am fearful of men that are muscular and quiet. They act like it's my fault that when I here loud nioses I immediately feel like someone is coming to harm me. But no, it's not I have mental health issues because of my trauma.
My friend has a huge lying problem like a huge problem she always gets mad when she gets called out for it because she lies and when I call her out l don’t say anything bc i already know she’s lying also she lies about stuff that I did when I didn’t even do it but everyone else is always on her side well she’s my ex friend now
Not quite. Narcissism is more of a “It’s all about me! I’m better than everyone else! Praise me! Give me all of the attention!” That’s what narcissism is, though they never say that stuff verbally, but more expressively. Yeah, sometimes narcissists will lie to get attention, even if it’s a situation someone just claimed to be going through. The narcissist will also exaggerate just enough to make their situation seem worse. So basically, the narcissist wants attention in general. Upon retrieving more information, a narcissist would provoke those who hate them to get that attention. I think my mom is a narcissist. She’s nice to me though.
I have this. I feel so sorry for being selfish. When my bestie is sad I just sit next to her and stare, I don't even try to help. Then, when I actually try to help my toxic friend comes and comforts her, leaving me out and not caring if I leave. I feel horrible about it.. I sometimes do the "mine is worse" but after I feel so bad about it.
People with mental disorders don’t like to admit they have a disorder…they get mad when people try to tell them they do…your friend was going through mental disorder is cool phase, a lot of people go through this stage…they think being psychotic makes them cool and hot
one of my old friends, who was also pretty toxic, once sought attention by saying: "Shut Up! I have so many mental health problems and all!". Well, I cut her out of my life, even tho I should've done it much earlier... she was always bragging abt things, and all were lies...
@Elizabeth Acres people that have mental health issues don’t like to admit they have a problem…they can’t get help if they think there is nothing wrong with them….cause in their mind, you can’t fix something that’s not broken…in order for someone to get help, they have to first admit they actually have a problem, and actually want to get help…you can’t help someone who doesn’t want help they’re just going to fight you the whole way through. It’s easy to say have the mental health issue and just get help when in their minds they have no mental health issues, they’re perfectly fine…so instead of going you know what you’re right…they’re thinking, how dare you call me mental…and they tend to get aggressive and lash out at you.

Narcissism. My friend once acted like one, but it was one time, and she apologized. I talked about how we almost forgot my birthday presents on a summer trip and had to go back and get them and she said “well I traveled around the world without my presents”.
Superiority disorder I think. I’m no expert but they feel as though they have to be better than everyone. Everyone needs to be kind and acknowledge these disorders! 💕
According to everyone, I am selfish and have no emotions, but I do, I really do. They don’t know that I’m suffering every morning when I wake up and when I go to bed. I’m just misunderstood. I just can’t go through that again, losing someone I love dearly. Please help me get through this and suggest some things that can help. Thank you.
Narcissism-I believe that it's the disorder where you feel like you have to be better then anyone else so of someone's dog died you feel the need to bud in and say that you lost your dad because you want them to feel more sorry for you then the other person you need to be acknowledged more then others- I believe that it's caused by life changing events and mental abuse.
yeah when my coach used to scold be everytime cause i have bad grades than other people but the other people actually my teammates they are like all classes top 10 and im only a top 15, but my coach is my atheletics coach, i started having narcissism and trying to be better
I’m probably a narcissist, most of my friends have said so. In my case it was probably caused by everyone always telling me that I’m “gifted”. It led me to believe that I didn’t have to try as hard as others to get what I wanted. It’s not really my fault, but it pisses me off that I can’t escape this mindset.
Im pretty sure narcissism isnt a disorder, its just a personality trait. And a person can get rid of it usually just by talking about it with family/friends or in worse cases therapy.
If you haven't already, you should do dissociative identity disorder (DID). DID is something I struggle with and I would like to see you do a video like this on it :)
@willy wompa 1. It is most definitely diagnosable in minors. 2. there are littles, like the young alters. 3. what does gacha have to do with any of this? 4. There are people who fake having a disorder, and it sucks bc, especially with DID, they tend to romanticize it when really they shouldn't. It's a terrifying condition to live with because you feel like you're going crazy and you're never in control, BUT it's equally frustrating for people who actually struggle with it to be told they don't and have people not believe them *because* of the people who pretend. 5. How do they have it? Simple. T-R-A-U-M-A. So I'm just saying, maybe look into it more before throwing suspicion?
If anyone is suspicious someone may be a narcissist, get a group of people with you (for safety) as just plainly ask them “are you a narcissist?”. If they turn the finger back at you, they should probably be checked out. Please be safe out there, people 🩷🩷
Exactly my friends are like that too but with physical and mental injuries, they just start yapping about how hard their life is when I’m telling them about my issues, they always say:” don’t worry, my one was even more worse than yours so u need to learn to be grateful that urs isn’t as bad as mine, BRO” And that exactly why my mental health is deteriorating every single day but I still am happy in the outside but not the inside. Narcissistic personality disorder . Everyone often makes these people out to be villains , when sometimes they can’t help it . Sometimes though , they can
When I was younger, I was a narcissist. From ages 3-11, I displayed most signs of a psychopath. Sometime when I was 11, I changed. It was weird, like one night I’m hurting people because I felt like it, and the next morning, nothing. I did lose almost all my memories, though. I have no memories of my life before age 11, except for a couple of books. It’s the strangest thing. However, I feel extreme remorse for how I acted.
@Paul Allen so that’s why all the kids at my school who show EXTREME signs of narcissistic personality disorder doesn’t get help… ok so even after typical puberty stops (different for bio gender) doctors still wanna play footsie with the idea that young people can be the exact same way
@Paul Allen you can have any mental disorder at any age. I’ve had BPD since I was 12. They just refuse to diagnose it, it’s not like being professionally diagnosed magically makes it appear. NPD is also way more than someone being vain, even then most narcissists I’ve come across don’t exhibit that trait.
Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health condition in which people have an unreasonably high sense of their own importance. They need and seek too much attention and want people to admire them. People with this disorder may lack the ability to understand or care about the feelings of others. @@captaincone6254 gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition. Meaning in short: the gaslighter (abuser) makes the victim think that something maybe never happened or don't think it's "that bad" or "not a big of a deal" something a gaslighter might say is "oh but the war in Ukraine is worse" or literally anything where they completely ignore your feelings and your own needs as a human being If you're currently getting gaslighted by someone I'm so sorry try to not be around them as much as possible and remember you deserve to be treated like the person you are Hope this helped

@King it took me until I was 15 to have the courage to speak up. He got to live his life freely for 5 years until January of this year. (In that time, he'd been able to have 2 boys with his new wife and got a new house built last year.) Sentenced 10 years. Not as long as I'd like for what he did to me and my younger sister, but whatever. Our victim advocate asked how long we would like him to be in prison, I said at least 10 years because that's about how long he'd abused me. I'm very much happy to be away from him, even if he got to have the sons he wanted so desperately and was able to live life without repercussions for 5 years. I'm engaged and have a baby of my own. I appreciate you’re trying to spread awareness. Over the past two years I’ve been learning more about that sort of stuff and it helped me find out some of my own truths. I’m not comfortable sharing them but let’s just say I appreciate this.
As someone with borderline personality disorder, I know what it feels like to not be able to control yourself and how frustrating it can be. I really wish I could be someone different. So I feel you, I hope you'll manage to build strong relationships despite this problem. And if you feel like you really can't get better, consider getting some help. No one should have to deal with this alone, it's scary. Stay strong!
Yup. One of my ex best friends was exactly like that. I sadly didn't notice in time and suffered for quite a while, she had me at a double edged sword kind of thing, if I left her, she made me feel guilty and sad, if I stayed with her, I'd feel the same but in reverse. I would feel like a bad person if I stayed because I felt like a bad friend for some reason, as to why she always made my issues about herself. So I had to cut my pinky off to able to leave her, I still feel bad about it sometimes, but that's been the same with everything in my life.
In my experience this is how a narcissistic child or teen would act. In adults it's more of just only thinking about themselves, and making you feel worthless, gaslighting and being manipulative In children it's usually trying to one up others, with a feeling of your less important then I am or I've done better or gone through worse. Most of my dad's side is Narcissistic including my father so if this will help I hope you can recognize these signs in family or friends.
A few weeks ago my dog passed away. I told my group chat and one of them , who will remain nameless , said “ WTH she looks she has rabies and was thrown off a cliff and stabbed “ after I sent a picture of her. She then told me to vent about her death in private , even though she puts ON HER STATUS about how she’s “ broken “. If ur reading this , just know that hurt. A lot.
I really appreciate that. I'm so sorry for your loss, but it really frustrates me when people try to make pain a competition. Everyone's pain is valid. That being said, again, I'm very sorry for your loss and I hope you're doing well.
This was my ex best friend. My mental health was really suffering while i was friends with her. I started going to therapy and i was really self-conscious about it. I finally confided in her about my mental health and she laughs and says "me too. I've been taking therapy for a whole now and I've been diagnosed with GAD and their running tests for SAD." I didnt know what either of those are and i think she just made them up on the spot (she was a compulsive liar as well). But it made me feel really bad about myself because i didnt have any medical diagnosis and I felt like i had to prove to her that I was struggling. I distancer myself from her and my mental health is doing much better now.
Hi, I’m really sorry that happened to you and I hope you’re feeling better ❤ FYI, those are real mental disorders, GAD stands for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and SAD stands for Seasonal Affective Disorder. She still could’ve been lying about the diagnosis though 🤷♀️ Either way, I’m glad you’ve distanced yourself from this person. I have dealt with many narcissists and compulsive liars in my lifetime which sucks. As someone with this, I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s the severe need for needing to be the better. Needing more sympathy, needing to be more important in the situation. Compulsively lying in order to be better then the other. It really sucks.
I myself don't have it but there's such a stigma around it.

What does it mean?

I’m probably a narcissist, most of my friends have said so. In my case it was probably caused by everyone always telling me that I’m “gifted”. Im pretty sure narcissism isnt a disorder, its just a personality trait.
And a person can get rid of it usually just by talking about it with family/friends or in worse cases therapy.
@@cringe_dev1809 It’s a personality disorder bozo. What most people call narcissism is actually just a toxic and self centered personality.
If you haven't already, you should do dissociative identity disorder (DID). DID is something I struggle with and I would like to see you do a video like this on it :)
you make gacha videos how tf do you have DID bro thats literally never diagnosed in minors
So I'm just saying, maybe look into it more before throwing suspicion?
sorry I know that I should not 🤭 but DID is Dance India Dance, lol😆
You are diagnosed or follow by a therapist right ? (No offence just asking)
If anyone is suspicious someone may be a narcissist, get a group of people with you (for safety) as just plainly ask them “are you a narcissist?”. If they turn the finger back at you, they should probably be checked out. Please be safe out there, people 🩷🩷

How is it gaslighting
@@captaincone6254 gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which the abuser attempts to sow self-doubt and confusion in their victim's mind. Typically, gaslighters are seeking to gain power and control over the other person, by distorting reality and forcing them to question their own judgment and intuition.
Meaning in short: the gaslighter (abuser) makes the victim think that something maybe never happened or don't think it's "that bad" or "not a big of a deal" something a gaslighter might say is "oh but the war in Ukraine is worse" or literally anything where they completely ignore your feelings and your own needs as a human being

@@donteventrymelol2827 You too kind stranger!
That's emotional control
Did you actually cut your pinky off
By these types of videos I found out I am a narcissist. When I realized the thoughts were not good I have tried to avoid it as much as possible 🙂
its scary how fast i realized that it was narcissism
She should make more “ guess the disorder” videos
she has, there’s a compilation here on yt
They/them pronouns I’m pretty sure btw
I think they go by they/them pronouns
I think they go my they/them pronouns
@@Mika.123. i just typed and somehow I says the same thing lol
A lot.
Narcissism. All the people I know irl are like this. I hate people like this.
I had no idea narcissism was a disorder thank you for opening my eyes
i remember when i lost my grandma and my bsf said “well i lost my uncle”. it’s weird how people can be so rude.
As someone who lost my dad at a young age, i do not under ANY circumstances compare him lien its a competition
Probably just MTS
I really appreciate that. I'm so sorry for your loss, but it really frustrates me when people try to make pain a competition. Everyone's pain is valid. That being said, again, I'm very sorry for your loss and I hope you're doing well.
No it's not a rude thing it's a disorder.
@@ajsanfelipe5204 narcissism isnt a disorder. I’m convinced it’s by choice
Hi, I’m really sorry that happened to you and I hope you’re feeling better ❤
FYI, those are real mental disorders, GAD stands for Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and SAD stands for Seasonal Affective Disorder. She still could’ve been lying about the diagnosis though 🤷♀️
Either way, I’m glad you’ve distanced yourself from this person. I have dealt with many narcissists and compulsive liars in my lifetime which sucks. One of which is my younger sister, who constantly gaslights me, verbally abuses me, and crosses my boundaries, I have just under a year until I turn sixteen and can legally leave home, and then I will never have to see her again 🎉
@@JayB.0628 Thanks so much, I didn't realise those were actual things but thanks for telling me. And I am feeling a lot better now that I don't have to see her, I moved schools after cutting ties with her so never have to see her again and it's honestly been great. I hope things get better with your sister and when you just cut out people like that it makes everything so much better. Wish you the best of luck
My friend has this so we all have to be patient with her ❤
I dont remember what its called atm but basically it makes you have the need to be either worse iff or better than the people ar9und you. For aome its so you feel important, or seen, others because theyre scared of being left behind, ect. Theres many things people convince themselves, so just try ro help people when needed (and is safe you you both phisically and wmotionally
This has to be narcissism I grew up in a house full of them I learned their behaviors
Me too,it sucks 😔
me three! best to get out asap
Explain?
@@jimins_jams.97 what do we have to explain??
@@trinitypaul7590 u don't have to but i would appreciate if u do , umm could u explain what nercissism is and how they act , like a little more than the vid , the vid is not helping that much since idk anything about narcissism
I my friend has it. When one of my other friends have it he always tells them that he had the hardest life ever and I feel really bad for the person.
Thank you for saying the fact its a disorder its hurting me how this is just 'normal' to the world
Bro the end I really said “it’s not the vibe” 😭💀
THE "STOP CRYING" ONE OMG
Literally 4/6 of my exes:')
Narcissist - my friend has this condition and I dont believe it’s a disorder tho but I love ❤️ your videos so much thank you for putting up awareness that this is not an attitude they can’t really help how they act or respond .
My bestie was like this and I just relised that this is a condition 😢😢😢😢😢 i never knew-
As someone with this, I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s the severe need for needing to be the better. Needing more sympathy, needing to be more important in the situation. Compulsively lying in order to be better then the other. It really sucks.
I myself don't have it but there's such a stigma around it. It really annoys me, I get that sometimes it's hard when your friend or family is dealing with a mental illness but people forget that it's harder for the person with the disorder than it is for anyone else. Plus people tend to throw around "narcissist" or "narcissistic" like the people with the disorder asked for it. It's a disorder, no one WANTS a disorder. Sorry sorry I got off track 😅 long story short, I feel you dude x
I'm pretty sure it's Mirror Touch Synesthesia which is pretty much where you feel what the person you're looking at feels.
Yeah same
Yeah
No it's not that
Mostly become at the end she said to the girl to shut up and stuff and if it was this then she would also feel her pain or some and have empathy
That is a good observation but it's narcissism 😊
The key thing here is people with this disorder are still people
I have a friend like this I don’t think she knows I think I’m the only one who does because none of my friends know about this, but I try to help her as much as I can.
Narcissism, there's two types but I only really have experience with one. It's where you truly believe that you are better, or have had things worse than anybody else. It can feel like if you're completely average that you're nothing so you have to be different, for the worse or better.
I feel it all the time
ohhh but whats the other type?
oh wait nvm theres alot more types but i know now
Me: that sounds like my best friend
Me: being freaked out about my best friend!!!
Edit 1: MOM IM FAMOUSSSSS
Omg i thood that to
Lol this is my bff too.
Then yalls bff’s are narcissistic
Omg same wth
My so called bff is like this too. She lies abt everything
What sucks is that one of my friends if exactly like this…
you should do this mirror disorder when whatever you see happen to someone its like you feel what you see
Narcissism - my ex-bestie didn't have it but she acted a lot like a narcissist - it's why we aren't friends anymore - Ik it's a disorder but I still thought she was a bitch - when my mum was in hospital with a fatal disease she didn't care - when my grandad died a day ago all she said was 'oh' and pretended to be seriously sick for the rest of the day (on Tuesday she was 'AbSoLuTeLy FiNe💅✨)
Edit: there's a lot more too but uhm I have a life so I'm not gonna write a whole essay
Hope ur ok ❤
Ok I'm sorry for your loss but
Your bestie like what can she do if she cared will she heal them :no
She skipped that so she doesn't remind you ig
Bro you’re not mentally ok it’s not someone’s fault IF THEY HAVS A FRICKING MENTAL DISORDER
I feel so sorry for you😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Don't have to be rude about it.
This video made me cry. I’m like this and I only just realized it because I’m young. It’s hard for me to think before I speak as well. ❤
I hate these type of ppl but after watching this Im still a bit annoyed but less hate on them.
Girl same too I’m like this but even worse I have anxiety. And if someone acts like this I feel them
Its not too bad unless they straight up act entirely rude. Like some other people.
My friend completely gaslit our friend group, putting the blame on us even though I had seen she had been lying. All to make us feel bad I think….
I don’t think she is too bad although she seems not to have the best mental health and I feel bad for her since i don’t completely understand her reasons and cant ask her without offending her.
If your wondering narcissism comes from lack of attention in childhood or early stages of life:>
