I love Juice Newton! She was quite popular in the early to mid 80's. Other great songs by her are: Queen of Hearts, The Sweetest Thing, Love's Been A Little Bit Hard On Me and Break it to Me Gently :)
Judy "Juice" Newton was a major star in the 70s and 80s. Try her other hits "Queen Of Hearts" "Loves Been A Little Bit Hard On Me" "The Sweetest Thing"
This is maybe her most popular song and definitely one of her best. As others have said, “Love’s Been a Little Bit Hard on Me” is another big one by her. She also had a good song titled, “You Make Me Want to Make You Mine”.
Hey Tysheen, :) It was sunny and chilly here this morning at 37 degrees at 8am when I went to get my 2nd dose of vaccine. Starting to cloud up a bit now but it made it up to 64. Thanks for posting this. I had forgotten all about Juice Newton, even though she had quite the string of hits back in the day.
Great song! It was originally recorded by Merrilee Rush. A country singer in the 1960's. Juice did a great job on it and it was a huge hit for her. The story reminds me of another song, "Help Me Make It Through The Night" by Sammi Smith. A classic written by the great Chris Kristofferson! It has sort of the same theme to it.
Merrllee Rush had the original back in 1968. Many as myself prefer her version. 1968, 69 and 70 had so much great music. Consider doing some reactions from that time. Keep up the good work!!
Queen of Hearts was another great song by Juice Newton
The sweetest thing I've ever known....is another BEAUTIFUL song by Juice Newton. I love her music.
Love those last lines and your response...Juice so sweet

My favourite version was by PP Arnold but the original was by Evie Sands and followed by Billie Davis both 1967
