First of thank you for taking us along on your adventures. The last video I was reminded of all the times I have had a conversation while out backpacking or traveling that saved me a lot of trouble. I really feel those are your guardian angel working overtime. The route was definitely beautiful, but absolutely terrifying. From Instagram it looks like you had a great visit with your buddy. I'm looking forward to the continuation of your journey. Thank you again for taking us along. Safe travels.

I bought your book & checked out your webpage. I am looking forward to learning more about your journey. I heard a quote about the desert that I connected with. It’s meant to come from a spiritual point of view, “ In the desert you trust God or die.” I found it to be a beautiful metaphor for so my aspects of life.

Thank you so much Mark! I totally feel that quote. That is definitely how I made it through the desert on my hike across America!

I kept wondering what you would do if your tire did blow. I know you have a emergency beacan, is that what you would need to use? No cell service I'm sure. Also, how would you even know if help was coming? That would be the scary part to me, but yeah, really beautiful!

Yeah I would need to use my Garmin Inreach to message someone I know for help, or in a dire emergency I could use the SOS feature but they would only take me and leave my bike and all my stuff. I can receive text messages if I text the person first and if I used the SOS feature the operator would communicate with my via satellite text with questions and updates. Thanks Andi!
