This is my favorite show, I’ve seen it a million times, and it’s so funny to see an outside perspective from someone who hasn’t seen it before LOL. I especially love that you can tell Lewis is great right away, he’s literally the best character in the whole show.

I love this show, still one of the best pieces of media with mermaids in my opinion.
Fun fact: the tails are very real and heavy (over 12kg), so the actresses not only had to learn how to control their breathing, but train to swim with the tails for all the underwater scenes. Oh, and each scale on the tails was glued manually.
To give a little bit of context without spoiling: normally the fullmoon in H2O has a similar effect to the one in werewolf myths (it can enhance their powers, but also make them lose control); Charlotte was the antagonist of the season, so even though the episode wasn't the best, finally getting rid of her was very satisfying.
Wardrobe must've taken forever. At least they got to lay down the whole time, I guess.

I love this show! Charolotte the rude character thought since her grandma was a mermaid, she deserved to be the only one. She used her powers to be mean to the 3 girls. She made Cleo almost swim to the shark to be eaten, didn't allow Lewis to talk to them especially Cleo, locked Emma and Cleo up at Lweis birthday party, stole Cleo's necklace, and overall was rude. Also, at the end that other boy is Zane, Rikki's BF (The curly blonde).
And yet they still thought telling her this moon cycle would be the strongest, was a good idea. 😭😭 The writers wrote the dumbest characters ever
If you're going into old childhood nostalgia shows, Wolfblood was my fav as a kid. My fav eps are s1e11 Eolas and s3e11 The Suspicions of Mr. Jeffries

it's my fave now lmao, i'm lowkey rewatching it, trying not to fall down the rabbit hole again lmao, but my favourite from season one has to be Occam's razor, when maddy transforms for the first time, it's a really sweet moment with her and rhydian. and eolas is definitely a top one for sure
YES Wolfblood dragged me into my wolf girl phase when I was a kid. That phase has long been over of course but I still have a really soft spot for the show. Maddy and Rhydian were a lot of fun to see grow as characters
The theme song just always hits too, season 4 theme song as well even if the show itself was different. They really got AURORA singing 'Running with the Wolves' and I've been obsessed with her voice since.

charlotte's grandma was one of the mermaids from 50 years ago. she has just as much "right" to the mermaid powers as the main characters. also they were mean to her when they first met her (because they were trying to keep the mermaid stuff a secret) and then it all just spiraled into a big feud. charlotte's kind of annoying but she's not *evil*. my main gripe with her was the time she turned off lewis's phone so that cleo couldn't contact him.
i agree that charlotte wasn't "evil", from the start she was just really set on getting lewis no matter what, and sometimes you could see manipulative behavior from her to get it, and when she got powers,it went to her head, but it felt like a natural progression of her character, like it was gradual, never like oh she is the worst! we just perceive that cuz she wants lewis and as an audience you're meant to root for lewis and cleo, so of course you don't like her. but i don't think the girls were mean to her ever, rikkinever liked hersure, but she doesn't like anyone, and charlotte didn't like cleo, so cleo just gave back the same energy. they were actually welcoming to her despite everything until the birthday party when she revealed her true colours
Watching it as an adult, I felt kind of bad for her, like I feel like she has some serious psychological problems

i like the comment that suggested it said that phoebe tonkin was in it but not claire holt lmao, like famously the originals had 2 h2o cast members in it, and i am still baffled they NEVER had caribba come on too, like just for ONE episode, and we never got our h2o reunion. and like half the cast was Australian too, my girl could've come down for 2 weeks to film an episode or 2, and it would've been the highest rated episode i guarantee you

Eureka was an amazing show and, indeed, could be quite the fever dream without context (even with context sometimes)!
Eureka Season 4 Episode 2 A New World or Season 4 Episode 14 Up in the Air would be great options. Eureka - ordinary IQ sheriff policing a secret town of geniuses creating technology for the US government - chaos ensues.
Eureka also had a sister show it crossed over with a couple times that would be great: Warehouse 13. I'd recommend season 3 episode 11 Emily Lake.

This was fun! I loved that show when I was younger. If you want some more childhood nostalgia shows "The Tribe" (1999) or "Ocean Girl" (1994) are some of my all-time favourites.

Yes they did. The mermaids had a power boost in the beginning of season 2, which not only enhanced the powers they already had, but also gave them some extra abilities.
This is the dumbest show ever 😭😭 why'd you ruin my childhooddd! I haven't seen this show since I was a kid and it should have been kept that way. Three mermaids and they send out the human to deal with the supercharged up crazy merbitxh 😭😩
