    Just an observation, never ignite a propane grill with the cover closed. If the grill doesn't ignite on the first or second attempt you will have a build up of propane within the grill which could cause a potential explosion once it ignites. Always ignite with the cover open.

    How do you store the griddle when using the grill?
    Thanks

      I can tell you how NOT to store it. Don’t leave it outside! It will rust! I’m determined to see if I can make it fit under the grill but for now, I bring it inside and lean against a cabinet!

    Great video !
    But , where does all the grease and food drippings go

    • @Allthingsfadra
      @Allthingsfadra  6 дней назад

      If you look down in your grill, you'll see that the whenever you use it (as a grill or griddle), the grease is funneled through a small whole and there is a disposable aluminum pan underneath that catches all the drippings. When it gets full, you can remove and replace it. This video show syou how I took everything apart and cleaned it so you get a better idea of where everything is: ruclips.net/video/lGvoy-pszN/видео.html

    Thanks for the review, just bought one and wanted to see how it performs. Quick note - this insert is not Cast Iron, it’s Carbon Steel

      Two things... 1. I love it. I used it just today to reheat pizza slices (great if you like crispy bottoms) 2. YOU ARE SO RIGHT. I think I just made an assumption there so I've gone back and done my best to edit that out. Appreciate you correcting me!

      @@Allthingsfadra That’s great to hear! Thanks for taking the time and making that correction 😁 I know many who are part of the cast Iron cult would be very upset after receiving the griddle and realizing it’s carbon steel 🤣

    Hi Fadra, that’s for the video & review. I think I noticed we have the same Martha Stewart LIVING patio furniture. Have you noticed if your wicker is starting to crack/split & break? I’m so heartbroken because I love this patio furniture. Do you put it away in the winter? Maybe yours is new? Mine is from 2017? I would like to fix or replace but not sure where to begin. Enjoy your beautiful grill. That one is next on my list to purchase.

      I’m not sure what brand it is but I bought it at Home Depot and I love it too! Yes, the wicker is starting to unravel and I am NOT happy about it. It is probably around the same age as yours and I honestly don’t think there is a fix for it. So I’m going to just use it until it’s dead!

    The way you light your grill makes me so nervous for you. The amount of gas that's coming out after you open that first burner to the time when you have all the burners open, close the lid, then press the button is too much. On that grill you should only light one burner at a time, moving down the row as needed. Other than that, great review video of the griddle! I can't wait to get mine!

      That’s a fair comment. It’s how I do it with the grill but you don’t have the gas trapped like you do with the griddle. I’ll take it under advisement! I’ve been cooking soooo many things on the griddle. You’ll love it!

    Thank you does it have a drip pan to catch the grease?

      @Allthingsfadra  3 месяца назад +1

      All of the grease is funneled down through the grill into the drip pan below. So you’ll definitely want to check it so it doesn’t overfill.
