Lindsey Stirling, in case you didn't know it, you are an Angel sent to earth by God, to uplift us, and spread the message of Jesus to us all. We all see it. I hope that you can see it too. Your beautiful music is just beyond words. Please keep on doing what you are doing, don't ever lose focus, you are gorgeous. So this is what Angels look like :)

Well the trouble is, if it is just the instrumental it is NOT the Christmas classic, since the melody for "What Child Is This" is "Greensleeves". So this is basically Greensleeves

@@mrbeezkeez1599 No, I don't think the sound is live. But Lindsay is. Being so she must do her miming in perfect synchronicity with the record of the studio, whilst dancing too - and that in the middle of an ice cold weather. The coordination between miming and dancing is really remarkable. The same way the expression on her face in her loving performance is.

@@timgrant1219 First of all, I didn't "agree" with MR BEEZ KEEZ, just considered that it might be possible that the sound was recorded in studio, because many artists do that way. EVEN if she HAD 'mimed' the playing (as MR BEEZ KEEZ stated), still it would remain a remarkable performance. She is, indeed, a great artist.

I just wanted to tell you I felt absolutely horrible in the Hopeless because of things in my life. There's no reason why God should have ever made me. I wasn't wanted and I went through a lot of hurt and my mom being jealous of me not letting me have anything I enjoyed and loving my brother with so much love. She gives him everything can do whatever he wants he has the keys to the house the car and she's leaving everything to him and that's fine because I love my brother and I know but it's supposed to make me feel bad. But money doesn't mean anything to me I never had it and what money I did have I would give to the elderly in the nursing homes. I wish I could have my own residential home or I could just take care of all of them myself. I haven't felt like that for a while and then after watching the Country Music Awards tears roll down my eyes and I fell to my knees. It's not about us it's about what we can do for him. My relationship ended and I feel like I just never meet the right person I don't want to bother anymore I want to learn how to play a violin though. I know I would make a lot of people in hospice and nursing homes happy. I've got that kind of a personality. Anything I can do for anybody I love to do it anything I have if anybody likes if they can have it it's about relationships and loving and part of me died for 2 weeks and watching that Awards and how you were like an Angelic being changed me. There's another girl Mara Justine she sings the song The Sparrow I know he watches me it's amazing and I'd like you to watch her just because I think you would do that I think you would enjoy her. I hope this feeling I had stays because I don't like to feel hopeless and I can't stay to myself anymore alone it's very lonely I miss my father that died and all I wanted music that kind of music your kind of music. I wish you lived near me we could go to Starbucks for coffee

Lyndsey, I don't know if you ever look at these comments but I do have to let you know that one year ago Christmas Eve 2022 was the last time I was able to play my violin (I'm 62, soon to be 63 and I've been playing since I was 10, I'm a retired public school strings teacher) . That night I played your arrangement of Mary Did You Know. I've enjoyed your arrangements of Christmas pieces a great deal over the last few years. On the 29th of December 2022, my 62nd birthday, I fell while crossing a street in Boston and pretty much shattered my Left proximal Humorous. It's been the most painful recovery I've ever had (including 2 rotator cuff surgeries on my left shoulder) . I was told by my original Physical therapist back in June that she did not believe I'd ever be able to play again, breaking my heart into a million pieces. I was quite depressed for a time facing that realization, thinking seriously about selling my violin. But God is amazing and with the help of my orthopedic doctor and new and amazing PT and OT therapists I'm playing again....with some modifications to shoulder rest and using a shoulder brace to build up a severe sloping shoulder. The first song I'm playing on Dec. 10th is this version of What Child is This. I'm so excited! It's not without pain that I play at this point but with continued therapy and practice I'm planning on being better than ever. Thank you so much for sharing and allowing your arrangements and backing tracks to be sold on you website.

Hello. Lindsey normally doesn't have time to read a lot of comments. So, she lets her Boyfriend do it. And yes, she is glad that you are doing better and playing again.
My point in responding to your post is about what you said about the song, Mary, Did You Know...
Mary Did You Know song - Recently, Lindsey has had another Mandela Effect. She and I were watching one of her Twitch Livestreams and in it, she said she wished she had done the song, Mary, Did You Know. Of course, I said she did. She denied it. I couldn't show her on my copy because I don't have the deluxe edition. She looked on hers and it wasn't listed. I had to show her on the internet of others who uploaded her song. She still insists that she never did it. Do you remember hearing her version? And does your CD/album have it listed? If not, then it is a Mandela Effect and Lindsey's seventh one to boot.

"What Child Is This?" is a classic Christmas carol that's a staple of many holiday playlists.
Like all Christmas carols, it focuses on a major event from the Christmas story; namely, shepherds coming to visit the newborn Jesus. But the lyrics dealing with the birth of Jesus were added to the melody centuries after the song's tune was written around 1580.
The originally melody - "Greensleeves" - isn't religious in nature at all. In fact, it's all about a painful romantic conundrum and includes what some historians view as subtly salacious lyrics. ..."
The song's scandalous twist is hidden in its very title.
Green wasn't necessarily an innocuous color in early modern English society. According to "Women's Roles in the Renaissance," the phrase a "green gown" denoted promiscuous behavior - namely, getting grass stains on your dress while engaging in amorous activities outdoors.
Authors Meg Brown and Kari McBride speculate the term "Greensleeves" may even refer to a prostitute.
But the exact meaning of the song has been debated for centuries. ..."

You are a gift to the Galaxy and a memory reborn in every heart who experiences your energy. I am a masculine retired combat Marine from the Northern mid West of America wiping away tears of memories I had forgotten, Thank you for the gift you give to one and all. You ave given me back emotions long repressed and forgotten. You shine brighter than any star. I have watched you since P. Morgan said things to you that showed it is he who has no skills, talent, or ability to see a energy that can change the Universe. Your early U-Tube days, and now Dancing with the Stars, well you are such a star and your light will shine long after your mortal body is gone. Thank you for having the strength of a star and not stop giving of your self to the world. You are the total package and the kind of energy that warms the heart, mind and soul. Thank you again for letting us share and enjoy the unlimited talent and energy you have. You are a true winner in your being.... Shine on you bright Star.

From the perspective of a professional classic violinist her string crossings are too obvious and her initial tone is too undefined, not precise enough for example after string crossings. But it’s still very good and obviously it requires talent to be able to write music and come up with ideas in the first place.

Beautiful rendition of Greensleeves. It wasn't always associated with Christmas. It is thought to have been composed in about 1580, during the reign of Henry VIII. In 1865, the poet Henry Chatterton Dix wrote the lyrics of "What Child is This" to the melody of Greensleeves- adding it to what was a growing number of Christmas Carols at that time.
