I found a consistant cheese in yang's first phase to keep him basically stunlocked forever, the only setup you need is either to get him to dodge your attack, or punish/parry him successfully. Imagining you start with the dodge, he's always going to do a quick one-two hit, so avoid both (or deflect the first one but avoid the second one), hit him once for punish, duck strike, palm strike, chasing strikes and finally sweep him. He'll dodge the sweep, and you can start all over again, over all dealing a lot of structure and health damage to him for every loop you succesfully do. However you should stop this loop if yang hits a wall after you push him, as it will break him out of it. You can switch out the palm strike for a normal throw to remedy that and keep the combo going. He always does the one two so it's an infinite loop if done well, but he's very fast to do it after your sweep, so you should avoid immediately. while I'm here, I found that if you're fast enough, you can chain a palm strike immediately after a throw, to still damage the enemy, but it's not very consistant, just a fun fact
It’s just Duck Strike, Heavy, and then repeat. Duck Strike is hold light, then press Heavy once, then Duck strike, then heavy, Duck strike, heavy, repeat until dead. The timing feels a little weird at first but it’s pretty simple!
I found a cheese for Yang by using the invert throw skill by hitting him and then dodging into him, follow that up with a heavy attack, i don't know why but he can't block the follow up heavy so after you hit him with the heavy attack use invert throw again and then heavy and repeat, he can sometimes dodge the heavy attack, if he does so attack him again, he will block the attack but you can still do the invert throw skill. This also works in phase 2.
I have found a "cheese" for Kuroki P1. Since she now strings her combos together by cancelling the last hit and doing a cartwheel to start another one, you can just stay slightly out of her range and wait for her to do the cartwheel which always leads to one of three easy punishes 1) High, high, overhead, overhead. Just get in her range and spot dodge the last two hits for an easy punish. 2) High, high - low. You can jump into the low with a well timed snap kick for a stun punish 3) Spinning blades of death. Either run away or cancel this with a focus attack. You can try to deflect all the hits for crazy structure damage, but the chance you won't mash fast enough and take chip is super high.

Hey there's an absolute safe strategy for master Yang Phase one when he's far away, he will always do the snap kick, do the back elbow, eat his snap kick with hyper armor, cancel his following combo, and combo him back, then keep distance again. keep repeat, timing is a bit tricky but after few try it will work. Phase two is even easier, when you keep distance from Yang and stay beside the wall, Yang will do a wall jump kick 100% of the time, avoid the kick and combo him, keep distance and repeat. Turn out Yang Phase two is actually the easiest between all fight due to his AI is very abusable.
Glad you liked it! I don’t consider myself a master of the game by any means - if I try to fight the bosses “properly” they still give me a hard time lol. I just did a bunch of tinkering trying to find easy ways to exploit their movesets and figured it’d help other players too!
@@Exvaris I just used your tips and managed to do it. To me it was harder than the Limin Hui one but I officially finished Sifu. It was a rough but all in all very enjoyable ride.
@@Mayckon.D.Colman I just went through and gold stamped Alternative Ending. If you use the Leg Sweep focus strike, it keeps one of the bosses on the ground for a pretty long time. All I did was the stuff in this vid and occasionally used focus to knock one of them down.
As long as you are timing your deflect correctly, your structure gauge doesn't break. If it breaks and you tried to parry/deflect, it means you mistimed it.
Does the combo on yang still work? I keep getting to him and getting annihilated because it won’t stun him, and I can’t try it on training as he behaves very differently there.
It still works. On Disciple difficulty it works in both phase 1 and phase 2, just Duck Strike > Heavy > Repeat. On Master the combo works on Phase 2, but for Phase 1 you will have to occasionally duck under some counterattacks when he parries (as shown in the video). If you’re getting blocked, you are probably not performing them quickly enough. It helps to wait for a punish opportunity to get started.

You can do it without the push. Do heavy, raining strikes, sweep. I find it easier since there are less buttons to press.
@@highlightermarca-texto3281 if it works it works, I just personally adapted my own punish routine to yang which was close to my solution

I noticed Jin fengs low is the only one that swings left to right from character pov. The rest are high attacks that come from other directions.
