Early trailing edge failure on a Ka 6 CR

Early trailing edge failure in a 1965 Schleicher Ka 6 CR. Trailing edge looked solid - certainly with the fabric on! - but gently squeezing it between the ribs shows it opening up on the forward glue joints in some spots. Hard to spot, but the only solution was to replace the entire trailing edge plywood of both wings. Most gussets on the ribs aft of the spar were also replaced, and the aircraft required a new set of elevators due to spar face failure. The glue used is Kaurit.
