Wow. Just found this video and cannot wait to learn more. This is the first video I’ve found that is actually giving legitimacy to what we live with after a hysterectomy. I’ve been an early bird my entire life. And since my cancer and hysterectomy, I struggle to wake up before 8:30 -9:30 am. I’m losing 3-4 hours of every single day of my life now. I’m labeled at work as lazy. It’s such a huge loss for me. I’m struggling g to make a living because of this along with the other things a hysterectomy has stolen from me. Can you PLEASE address how I can get back to my old normal sleep patterns?!?!

Thank you for this video! I just met recently with my OB/GYN and unfortunately, she doesn't believe in testing for hormones and dissuaded me from doing to. Then proceeded to gave lecture me on eating less and exercising. I had a hysterectomy from adenomysis, lots of bleeding, heavy flow, and debilitating cramps almost all my life. Adenomysis was diagnosed after 3-4 years of anemia and heavy bleeding. How can I find an OB/GYN in my area who will support me in testing for these hormonal imbalances? I'm on the waitlist for your program, can't wait to try it and will buy your books now. Thanks for enlightening us - I feel like it's a whole new world opening up!! I'm shocked that many doctors don't know or believe that there could be underlying issues that are unaddressed. Putting all the blame and pressure on women to lose weight on their own without any guidance or understanding of what's going on with their bodies!!!

I am so sorry that was your experience. It can be hard to find the right fit in a practitioner. It is unfortunate that more are not willing to look to the root of the issue. But it really is key to a sustainable result!

I had a total hysterectomy. I had my tides clamped in 2008 then nuva sure to stop my heavy cycle in 2018. I was is so much pain I had to take tramadol. The last 5 months when it was time for my cycle the pain in my right side would literally stop me un my track and I would be bented over. The last 3 months the pain would last for 5 days. Everything was removed. My endometriosis was so bad. My uterus was attached to my right tube. I my hormones are now over the place. I'm on an estrogen patch as well. My weight is the same but I'm extremely bloated. I'm in week 3 and started walking. I worked hard not to gain weight but all the muscles I trained hard for are gone.

Letting the doctor talk me into a hysterectomy was the biggest mistake of my life 😭 I used the estrogen patch for years I felt good and then I had hypothyroidism so I took levothyroxine and my weight was great normal then all of a sudden my nurse practitioner took my levothyroxine and estrogen patch away because she said I shouldn’t take them anymore 🥲 it’s my body my choice I want them back!!!! I’m 50 lbs. over weight and I’m feeling sick all the time. There was no reason to destroy my life. I had a total hysterectomy in 2001.

I had a hysterectomy total abdominal in 2009 and did not lose weight, until the last 3 years I started intermittent fasting and low carb, and have since lost 38 lbs. and keeping it off over 2 years now, I had very badly symptomatic fibroids, bleeding over 1 or 2 mos. at a time, very heavy over 8 years! and I had Cervical dysplasia as well, so cervix and utereus removed. have ovaries, have not had a lot of issues since, except for a small inguinal hernia, and some problems with my scar tissue, which was also from a C-section with one of my kids. Have not really had a Dr. to address those issues, am getting there.

Is the weight gain after, due to the surgery increasing cortisol levels?
I was working with my integrative heath doctor on lowering cortisol and other. And things have gotten better. But him and my oncologist agreed that for my long term anemia and pain, a partial hysterectomy is the next step. Any tips on how to avoid weight gain ? Ive worked hard for 2 yrs to lose 24 lbs with working on repairing my body, doing low carb and intermittent fasting.

Thank you, this video was powerful. I have big fibroids 10cm and im going to strink them , because everything you said is the truth, people DO NOT want to do the work, praying, fasting, changing diets, exercises, keeping pressure normal, stress levels down, detox the body, no drinking alcohol, no sugar, just fruits some, I can go on and on...I started my journey 6 months ago and I've seen a huge difference, I can feel my inside changing ( no more pain, or just a little) no I don't see my stomach going down YET but it will, I have to change the common cause first. Yes the doc telling me to get a hysterectomy, but none of them saying change your eating ect.. yes it's scary to have big fibroids 😢 but I owe it to my body to treat it right after not treating it right for so long, it may take me a long time to strink my fibroids and my uterus, but im going to do it, just like they can grow, they can strink. I hope this helps someone. Thanks doc, I will share the video.

This videos is great. A hysterectomy can have a relationship with hipotiroidism? My mother had one after having me and she only has an ovary. She was with hormonal medication for a while, but she suffered big headaches than made her sick. Now she has hipotiroidism and hearts issues. I read that they can be related but I'm not sure.

I just started juicing every day and trying to limit processed food. Now I hear and read that one can gain weight after the procedure and a flabby belly.. But what worries me the most is the change of the body shape.
