Surely one of the best strikers in the club's history, Samuel Eto'o was absolutely lethal and scored many beautiful and important goals. It's a shame he didn't get along very well with Pep because then his Barça career might have lasted a bit longer, but instead he became the first ever player to win back-to-back trebles.

He was an absolute beast for sure, but underrated? No he was not. Not after he leaves Barca and wins the Champions League with JM at Inter. Trust me, everyone knew this guy was one of the best strikers in his era.

@@polperezfernandez3115 Your logic is stupid. Barca might have won more trophies with Eto'o. Ibra was pretty much useless for Barca and overall it was a shitty deal. The problem was just that Eto'o wanted gone too and as I remember he had only one year left of his contract so it was either this or letting him go free a year later. Would Barca have been stronger with Eto'o than Ibra - pretty sure they would.

2004-2008 Barça was a terror for any team, from the back with guys like Marquez, Xavi and Puyol, to the front with Messi, Eto'o and Dinho, it is one of the greatest and most solid lineups in history of football..
looking back at that team it appears Etoo was their best player, we just werent paying attention

Holger Badstuber said in a recent podcast, that Eto'o was the best striker he ever played against. And he played against them all: Messi, CR7, Ibra... He said, Eto'o was so quick and full of tricks.

One of my all time favourite forwards and arguably the best striker to serve our club. People often forget to mention him when they talk about some of the best players we've had. Felt really sad the day he left us. He'll always be a Barca Legend. Thanks for the awesome video Henrik. You're the best.

So sad that no one talks about Frank Rijkaard. He took a Barcelona team literally with zero and took it to stardum. Before Ronaldinho he had to endure a rebuilding in 2003. Barcelona was in the depths of La Liga. He started Xavi, Iniesta, Ronaldinho, Messi, Sylvinho, Marquez, Larsson, etc. He built that team. He believed in Eto'o. But no one even mentions him. Sucks.
